My View On Transgenderism

I support a transgender's right to tolerance. I do not support their right to approval.

I am required to tolerate their choice, but I am not required to approve of it.

This is the essence of the problem with the LGBTQ or whatever it is called now movement. Tolerance is not enough for them. They demand APPROVAL. They have no right to approval and THAT is the reason so many people hate them. They try to force people to approve through intimidation, name calling and disgusting public displays of sexuality intended to offend people who do not approve of their activities. Who would not dislike people like that? I don't flaunt my sexuality and I am not interested in seeing you flaunt yours.

I support tolerance. I DO NOT support forced approval. Other people have as much right not to approve of your sexual activities as you do to practice any sexual activities you wish.

I certainly do not believe that a transgender person is the gender they say they are. Male is not female and female is not male. If you can define words to mean anything you want them to mean, language has no meaning. And I will not support the destruction of the language by going along with that agenda.

The science dictates that there are only two genders, male and female and that all human beings will remain the gender they were born for their entire lives. Surgically altering your genitalia, taking hormones and fantasizing that you are the opposite gender does not alter the DNA in every cell in your body that carries the genetic record of the gender you were born.

I am tolerant of transgenderism. But I will not be forced to accept a fantasy and make believe it is reality. And any attempt to coerce me to do so will be met with pushback. If you don't respect me and my views, don't expect me to respect you and yours.

  • I don't know what makes you think something is a choice, if YOU can't choose yourself something like that for your own life. I mean, who would choose to be shunned by family and society, family, etc. Living in depression, in conflict with yourself, often commiting suicide and several other consequences that the average person is willfully ignorant to.

    I also don't know what makes you think you speak in the name of science. You obviously didn't give yourself the work to do some basic Google research about what you're criticizing. Do not try to (falsely) use the word "science" to corroborate your worldview. Science doesn't care what you think/believe, and also, science says that you're very wrong about what you think on that very subject. Take 2 minutes of your time and do a little research. It won't hurt you, and probably will save some transgender people to be hurt by you.

    • 1. Who said it's a choice? I didn't say anything about that one way or another. Whether it is a choice or not everything I said still applies. 2. So you are disputing that all human cells in the body contain chromosomes indicating gender? That's going to be a tough case to make.

    • If people are hurt by facts, truth and reality it isn't my fault. I will not engage in fantasy in order to placate them and indulge their alternate reality.

I've never said ANYTHING about chromosomes, and that's completely irrelevant to the topic. If you must know, biology (not your average 20+ years ago high school), psychology and psychiatry are also sciences. Sciences that kept discovering new things while you locked yourself with simple outdated chromosome concepts. The time you spent answering my comment, you could have used to simply Google "Transgenderism". Do it. Please.

  • "Transgenderism" is a mental illness, and rather than "tolerate" it we should seek to cure and thus eliminate it. No one can "demand" acceptance of a person's crazy delusions, and it just goes to show how utterly out of touch with reality these volk are if they think they can.
    God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve (or Adam, Steve and Stephanie). I hold these truths to be self-evident: there are two genders, abortion is murder, evolution is a fairy tale, and President Harris is Satan incarnate. Reality is what it is, and no amount of wishful thinking can change it.

    Explain where "intersex" people fall in your binary gender system?

    I won't get into the numerous other ways science can mess with genders. Let's just cover the rare people born with genital aspects of both biological males and females.

    • "Interesex" disorders do not contradict the fact that there are only two genders. They are a combination of the two genders, not a separate gender.

    • "all human beings will remain the gender they were born for their entire lives. " Oh, then you must have made a typo when you wrote that. You must have meant gender (s) since you have now expanded that it is possible that a person may actually be both genders at the same time.

  • I agree with everything you said. Everything!

    • The LGBTQ+ < I recently learned that this is the latest way to refer to them, community brings the hatred on itself. They disrespect those who don't approve of their lifestyle and attack them. So they bring the hatred on themselves. My mother has a gay cousin. He was married to a British supermodel in his 20s, I guess it was a front. He got divorced and moved in with a guy who was his partner for 50 years until he died recently. He NEVER "came out" to the family because he knew we didn't want to hear it. We all knew... it was obvious... he brought his partner to family events. We all knew. But he didn't talk about it he just lived his life the way he wanted and respected our desire not to hear about his sexual preferences. To this day he is one of my favorite people in the family. I have tremendous respect for him for this. He didn't flaunt his issue, he respected the rest of us. That's the kind of life that deserves respect... not some jerk who calls people homophobes and parades in the streets performing sexual acts. They deserve the disdain that they get.

    • Absolutely! And this constant name changing! They can't even decide what they want to be called but they demand respect!
