New girlfriend implies she wants to have sex, but I don't want to?

I think it's too soon and I am a virgin too so I have no experience with it.
What excuse can I make

Superb Opinion

  • Don't make excuses- tell her you're not ready; it's all the reason you need. I mean, you'd respect it if it was the other way around, no? Now, you*do* probably want to ask yourself what you're willing to do, and be moving yourself towards readiness, since that IS part of what a relationship's about (it's okay if you the wait-until-marriage type, but you should be upfront about that). Also, ask yourself if you're willing to do anything along than path, since she has her needs too.

And while there's nothing wrong with waiting until you're ready, do bear in mind that you won't be gaining any experience without, y'know, gaining experience.

    • I would respect her I fear she could think I am not mature

    • Well, you can't put it off with tricks and evasions forever, and haw mature will she think you are if you can't tell her the truth?

Most Helpful Guy

  • Lying is a terrible way to start a relationship. Tell her how you feel.

Most Helpful Girl

  • Excuses will lead to misunderstandings and arguments. It's best to be honest and tell her you think it's too soon.

    • I'm afraid she will think I'm immature

    • Alright look. Making excuses... is immature.
