(New) I Found a Piece of a Condom Wrapper in my Boyfriend's Car?

Sorry if I'm rambling, I'm trying to sort out how I feel.

An hour ago, I found a condom wrapper on the floor in the passenger side of his car.

Backstory, my boyfriend and I have been dating for 9 months now. He hasn't done anything that made me distrust him. I've met his parents, and almost every one of his friends. He's always loving, supportive, sweet, and faithful to me-- and looks at me with the "a man in love" eyes.

That said-- I'm confused on why I found a condom wrapper piece. I know that it's his condom, because he only uses a certain brand and size. Plus we never had sex in his car before and we haven't use a condom for 5-6 months since I got an IUD implant-- so I know that it wasn't with me.

His car does get super messy-- so I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. Last month, I found a box of the condoms in the back of his car and I asked him about it. He told me that it was super old from a year ago and that he forgot about it. The box looked pretty old and was pushed to the back, so I shrugged it off.

I do trust him and he's done nothing to suggest that he was cheating, so I feel guilty suggesting that he was being unfaithful. I'm currently waiting until we're alone to confront him about it. How should I bring it up?

I found old condoms in my husbands sock dresser that was so old they were before we got married and expired it happens yes but i just threw them away and he didn't care but i would also look at how old they looked.
