Get comfortable being nude by yourself. Start sleeping nude. Staying nude before/after you shower. Watch TV nude. Wash the dishes nude.
Once you're comfortable with that, then you can head to the beach. While on the beach don't approach anyone that is on their own, especially single women. If you feel an erection coming on, swim further out in the surf, flip over, or cover up with a towel. If you cover it up and don't flaunt it, no one's going to give you crap about it, but if you flaunt it, you'll be run off the beach.
Don't bring a camera. If you are attached to your phone at the hip, cover your phones camera with tape or a sticker so people don't think you're trying to film or take photos.

Don't expect to meet naturist girls. Keep to yourself. At least at the start. No cameras! Carry a small hand towel to "cover up" if you get an erection. Don't show it off if you do get one. You may well find yourself hounded off the beach or out of a sun club.
If you are there for the experience, and not the sex, getting an erection very seldom happens. I've been to a nude beach a number of times, and at first, I worried about what would happen if I got an erection. I soon realized, that not getting an erection was easy, just be yourself.

I've seen infinitely more than you (and by that I mean two). I was traveling for work, had some free time, and there was a nude beach I could uber to. I later learned had a history of being a place for gay hookups, which definitely explains the demographics of the beach!
Firstly start alone at home, like walking from shower naked to your room. Then start sleeping nude or walking around the house nude until you fully comfortable with being nude by yourself
