Opinions about Shower Sex?

My boyfriend keeps jokingly pushing me for shower sex. I've told him no a million time because I'm insecure about my body. He says "I've seen you naked, what's the big deal?" thing, but that's either when it's mostly dark or I'm in a bra and undies... He's never seen me full on naked in the light. (We've been dating for just over a year.) Is there any reason I should be afraid to do this? Or even just shower with him? I mean he says I'm beautiful and all and I want to shower with him, but I think I'm fat... even though he says I'm not. Guys, is it really that appealing to shower with a girl? Is it really "hot" and stuff like my boyfriend says it would be? Girls, have you ever showered with your man or did you feel insecure about it? Let me know! :)

I shower with my bf all the time. We've been together 9 months now and have been living together for just over 2 months. At the beginning of our relationship I was extremely self conscience about my body, and I still am a little bit when we shower together, but he keeps telling me he loves me, and my (as I call them) wobbly bits. The more you get naked in front of him in the light, the more comfortable to gradually become and it gets easier.

I'm still not 100% comfortable being naked in front of my bf, but I still do it.

Just give it a go.

Yes.. Some guys find it hot.. Because what guy wouldn't love seeing his woman in the shower with water pouring down on her.. Your skin glistens when water hits it..
As much as you are really insecure about yourself your partner has reassured you about it.. If it bothers you remind him it makes you feel to exposed.. But start making changes and try to change that habit..

Okay, well firstly, I'm super confident, so that isn't the problem. The problem is using water as lubrication is the most unsatisfying and unpleasant sensation for both the guy and the girl. Instead of that lovely minimal friction you get, you get the feeling of rubbing two wet rubber balloons together.

I'd suggest you do whatever you need to, up to and including some counseling, to get past being so self conscious about your body. Also, move more, eat less, get some exercise and get back that girlish figure. In the meantime, I'd start having sex with the lights on and see if he shies away from you. I seriously doubt he will. He's into you. That's what's important.

Hot in concept, complicated in execution. However, you seriously should stop being insecure about your body around him because that is an extreme put off over time. It means you don't trust your own partner, after all.

Being in the shower with your SO can be a lot of fun. Yes sex in the shower can be diffcult, so thats where it can start, but it doesn't have to end there. There's something about being in there together, warm water running down your bodies, steam filling the room, soaping each other up as you kiss. But he also needs to understand your issues, not push for it and let it happen when you're ready.
