I think multiple men are needed to meet their financial aspirations unless they get one very wealthy and generous man. As to whether the men know or not, I have no idea but I would think that if they do they ignore it.

While that is true, it's also misleading. They overwhelmingly have sex with the men, unless they are just hanging out one time. There are a few super hot girl's who can get away with just being room decorations without having sex with the guys, but that's not at all typical. Of course, girls don't want to admit that they are having sex for money, and they want to portray having the status of the few girls who can get away with not having sex, but that's just as real as the lifestyles some women portray having on Instagram (i. e., complete bullshit). Men who have sugar babies expect to get something for their money, and while a movie producer might pay hot girls to be at his party to gain social status, but not many men can benefit that way.
