Prison inmates having a code of honor, ironic , huh?

I watched that movie on Lifetime last night, about Warren Jeffs. And, when he got sent to prison one of the inmates said "You better watch your back, you sick bastard" And, I was just thinking that there's murderers and all sorts of people that commit horrible crimes in there. Yet if you rape someone or hurt a child or anything like that, you're on they're hit list. Ironic, huh?

Not necessarily, people who prey on children are the most despised both in and outside of prison, and rightfully so, considering they are the most defenseless and innocent.

Killing a grown man who can fight back may be seen as honorable depending on the circumstances. But there are no scenarios where hurting a child would be seen as noble.

And its understandable that Sex crimes in general are seen as the most heinous since Sexuality is something so personal and significant in our lives, to corrupt someone in that way fuels anger among others.

No not ironic at all... Not all people in prison are those "scumbag POS humans" that are portrayed in the movies... Some people who are in prison are just normal people who got way in over their heads and just didn't know how to get out...

What is wrong with you people on here? Why is it every time I ask a simple question (with no harm intended), some one always finds fault in a simple harmless question? I didn't generalize anyone, it was just a question. That's all.

I think child molestation or rape is the worse crime someone can commit
People have reasons to murder. Plus it's seen as more tough in prision. Hurting a child? Fuck no. Plus a lot of criminals have kids or have been through that shit so if course they're going to kill the rapist or child molestor

I think they just want to victimize people and everyone agreed that crimes against kids are the worst.

Inmates look down on each other same as we do in society, whether we admit it or not. It may not be job, pay, house, wife, car or lifestyle but the thieves may look down on the armed robbers, the armed robbers on the drug smugglers, the drug smugglers on the rapists, the rapists on the paedophiles...

I'm not sure that's realistic. I think they separate inmates at risk like that.

He wasn't with them he was walking by the other inmates cells on the way to his cell and then someone yelled that out.
