Pubic Hair Removal. What's your way?

So this is a quite often asked question. The reason I ask it, is not because I don't know how to shave or trim. The reason I ask this question is because it bothers a lot of people, mostly people that are under the age of 20. Many virgins or (experienced) people that have sex for the first time with someone, can worry about their pubes. So they search the internet to find answers, cosmopolitan, wikihow, seventeen etc. The problem is that those sites, normally have one way of removing hair (one way of shaving, one way of waxing etc). But the thing is that people are different, some have more sensitive skin and some don't, some have thicker hair and some have thinner. One way doesn't work for everyone. So the question is, what's your way? What works best for you? Shaving, waxing? Something else? How often you remove your hair and when? How long it lasts? What products you use? Do you have thick or thin hair, is your skin sensitive not? Please give the most detailed answer you can. This way there will be less questions about this matter and people will find a solution that will work better for their skin and hair type.

  • I’ve tried pretty much everything before settling on laser, which was amazing. I had to stop while pregnant so have been shaving, which is easiest when done regularly (every 2-3 days at least) with a sharp, clean razor.

    • Oh nice, I can agree laser works great. As for shaving, doesn't gives you cuts and bumps?

    • Not if a sharp, clean razor is used 😊

  • I got Thick pubic hair with sensitive skin, so shaving gave me razor burn and bumps, swithched to waxing around once a week and problem solved, smoothness shaving can't get to

    • But it hurts doesn't it?

    • Getting used to it

    • I don't know, I tried it once and it really hurt, I sticked to depilatory creams

  • When it gets too long down there, i have to shave it. It hurts if i don't. If i trim it, it's gonna itch even more.
I know that makes no sense to most.

    • Have you tried depilatory creams? It's like shaving but doesn't give you razor cuts

    • Never even heard of that...

    • It's a cream that helps to remove the hair, you apply the cream on the area you want to remove the hair, wait for like 5 minutes (depends on the product, you read it on the box) and after you remove the cream with a spatula that you find inside the box with the cream.

  • I vary between waxing, shaving, hair removal creams.. just depends on my mood, I guess!

Always shave side to side haha, I guess that’s my tip.

    • I tried once waxing... it hurt like hell, it felt like the devil was pulling the hair from my skin! Depilatory creams work great no razor cuts at all.

  • I'd say trim, though I personally shave.

I wouldn't try a cream down there, especially if it's not designed for it, as you'll probably regret it.

  • Scissors and shaver

  • I use either nads cream which is lathered on then wait 10min. and wash off or I use nair for men which is the same concept as nads for men

    • Yeah it works great. How long the result lasts?

    • 2 to 3 months if you do it the right way the first time

    • Mine lasts like 1 and half week

  • Cream for me

    • I agree it works great for me. The results last a little bit longer and there are not razor cut.

    • And no rash from skin irritation

    • Exactly plus you don't have to buy razors and shaving cream
