Researchers are saying whites and us Asians have naturally weaker immune systems, and blacks have stronger ones. Is Neandrathal DNA to blame?

Researchers are saying whites and Asian people have naturally weaker immune systems because of Neandrathal DNA.

Some studies are also showing Asian and white mixed children have higher rates of birth defects and more mental health problems, which can be traced back to their higher percentage of Neandrathal DNA.

Conversely, blacks health problems is more based on environmental factors, such as poverty, poor eating habits, lack of sexual protection, obesity, etc.. instead of genetically being predisposed to certain diseases. One study even showed that black girls get pregnant easier when weighing the same as a white woman and both being healthy, black girls got pregnant easier.

  • You never know, it could be a factor. After all, the populations which have the largest traces of Neanderthal DNA, the only ethnic groups which can trace 5% or more of their genes back to interbreeding with the Neanderthals, are all Native American- and we know all about the Native Americans' deficiencies when it comes to their immune responses to infections. But black people aren't 'better'- there are several other genetic conditions and viral diseases which it appears that the Neanderthal trace genes boost peoples' levels of immunity to. And they certainly aren't 'pure humans', because people have been going back and forth into and out of Africa ever since the first people set foot outside of the continent. The average black African's heritage is actually 10% white, thanks largely to a mass migration of European immigrants into Africa from Europe some 3600 years ago, by the Nuragic Civilization of Sardinia, aka "The Sea Peoples" (the reason Sardinians share more genes with sub-Saharan Africans than any other ethnic group, even more than the Arabs); even the purest, most genetically divergent black ethnic group in Africa (and indeed the world), the Khoi-San, are effectively 2% white because of historical interbreeding. So don't sweat it; if neither you nor your husband have any familial genetic conditions, you've got absolutely nothing to worry about.

  • nah, and I'm worried about this neanderthal gene.
As a black man, I don't need the races to have more reason to treat blacks like less than human.

    • But black people are the pure homosapiens. So the true humans. Its whites and us Asians who are part Neandrathal

    • Still, if this became a huge study, it'll cause a rift between races... again. Also, don't worry about your kids. They'll be fine.

    • There is already a rift between races from my understanding

  • I don't think that is true.

  • I remember reading the opposite in the news about a year ago.

Those 3 autoimmune diseases probably (based on what I've read) have a lot to do with an independent variable, diet. Not much of the reason is really agree upon though from what I understand.

    • If you're worried about autoimmune diseases, I recommend researching gut health. Are black genes better? That's kind of an opinion. Are they pure humans? We are all 100% human. Neanderthals were technically human too from what I understand. Black people have "older genes," though. In the US black people tend to have higher rates of issues like obesity, cancer, diabetes, and heart issues unfortunately. A lot of these things are probably due to diet and stress instead of genes.

    • No, Neandrathals are not human. Humans are Homosapiens. Neandrathals are a different species. As I said before, most of the ailments hurting blacks is due to environmental or lifestyle factors, not their genes

  • Unlikely in the extreme. In fact, Google "hybrid vigor"

  • I always heard that Blacks don't age as much as Whites and I'm a White person but I'm not going to judge cause i just don't go there.
