Role Playing Rape?

So today I learnt that Role playing rape is normal I already heard people say it's consensual between 2 adults but still makes me somewhat disgusted🙈 I just can't shake the feeling it was relating to a post someone put up about her man fantasizing about raping women nd even offered to pay a woman to rape her 🤤🤤 I thought it was wrong and that one day he would act upon it or was I wrong thinking that as got a lot of people saying it's just a fantasy?

  • As a BDSM fan, I'll tell you this: if the person actually wanted to rape someone, they wouldn't role play. They'd just do it.

    During role play, I like to be "raped" specifically because I trust my partner so much. To me, love is when you give a person the ability to destroy you (vulnerability), and they choose to be kind to you anyway.

    During rape role play, I lose total control of the situation because I am totally dominated... but in my heart I know I can trust him 1000%. Which is why I want him to "rape" me. I know he'd never hurt me.

    That's the "sub" mentality.

    • As for the dom mentality, I don't think it has so much to do with wanting to hurt a person, so much as it is a desire to feel trusted and given control. The other person is putting them in total control, capable of doing anything they want. That feeling is empowering/masculine, and I think it would encourage the role player (in real life) to protect his partner against real threats even more. Because he feels like he can "cover" his partner. Nobody ever actually gets raped in role play, because it is a game. It is no different than little kids playing shoot-em-up video games or cops and robbers.

  • This is completely disgusting. Rape is a serious issue now days not some "kink", and if we start seeing it as a kink, then people will start doing it more and thinking it's okay when it's not. It has ruined lives and have scar'd people forever. Some people get raped as virgins and their purity gets taken away from them by someone who doesn't care about their self worth.   • While I can understand that it's a bit disturbing for guys to be fantasizing about rape, at the end of the day it's better that they be able to get that out of their system through consensual sex rather than letting those fantasies only develop further and potentially push them towards fulfilling them by force.

  • In my mind there's a huge difference between paying someone to rape them and role play "rape." In role play, the parties assume the roles but it's not real and she has a safe word they agree on that, if used, will stop the scene, cold.

    • Yes I definitely agree! At least with role play, both parties both mutually consented to it and if either one of them wants to stop... they just have to use the safe word that they agreed on and they will stop the role play right away. That shows respect for both parties.

  • I think this fantasy is more about dominating/submission. Have to bear in mind that although rape is a sexual act, it is more of a "breaking of her will" type of thing. So people have been living this type of thing for eons.
