Serious Question - HELP - What kind of job you can have when you are disabled?

Hello everyone, i would like to ask a serious question.
My boyfriend is physically disabled.
What it really means is, yes he can stand, he can walk, he can write, and type.
BUT everything he can do is extremely limited.

He can only stand but not stand still in the same position, his feet & legs will be so hurt. He has to walk, but also not fast, and not for more 30 mins straight and have to sit.

He types & write for 20-30 minutes and fingers hurt so much and have to let his hand rest.

He wants to make a start up, but everything needs a lot of physical effort.
Typing and walking are so basic. He can't do that.

It also needs quite a big amount of money to start any business, even just a small one. We can't really think of a job he can do.

To explain his health condition will be very complicated.

I just need if any of you have idea about jobs he might be able do. Please help. I am confused too.

Superb Opinion

  • You can do a lot of self-employed things why don’t you try being a babysitter they pay good money nowadays I hear. What about a security guard that sits in a chair for about a eight hours. You also could be a phone operator even though it’s kind of busy and hectic

  • Become an astrophysicist like Stephen Hawking. Compared to Hawking, your boyfriend is Mr. Universe and an Olympic athlete.

    • Yeah, his mind is still working. And there's tools he can use to get what's on his mind onto paper without using muscles or movement.

    • @Losalt I am not sure who you are referring to when you say "his", but Stephen Hawking's mind isn't working anymore; he is dead.

    • I'm talking about the OPs husband who is hopefully *not* dead...
