Of course. Animals have been using pee as an essential form of communication for millennia. It contains chemicals that dogs and other animals use to identify one another. It can contain pheromones that help a potential mate know when they are on heat and/or sexually receptive. We may be desensitized to this side of our biology (particularly as we live in a world drenched in perfumes) but the chemicals are still there and can affect us subconsciously.

Also, men and women have different plumbing, so our differences will always be a source of curiosity, e. g. different sounds, a large variety in abilities to pee in a neat and tidy stream, and therefore a large variety in different techniques to manage how to pee when you don't have the convenience of a bathroom.

I love it when a woman is comfortable enough with her body (and with me) to share with me how she pees, even more-so because our culture regards it as taboo and not something you can generally ask to see, so curiosity can build up (even before adolescence kicks in) and it can become a fetish.

I don't have any desire to pee on someone, to be peed on, or to drink pee as it is a waste product after all, but each to their own. I draw the line at pissing in places that cause damage to property like beds, couches, carpets, and generally stink up places like car parks.

I'm not sure I'd call it common! Yes, it does happen but even in the BDSM community scat play is fairly rare, and coprophagia (literally shit eating) even more so. It's also one of the significantly less safe things you can do, so most dungeons/clubs won't let you do it. It's like choking and breathplay - mainstream media talks about it as being a mainstay of BDSM, but in reality it's mostly avoided because it's so dangerous.
