Sex Stench. Tell Me About It?

I have a very poor, impaired sense of smell. Maybe that is due to a nasal treatment done to me as a child. Dunno. I has to be a very strong smell for me.

Regardless, more than one girl has said to me "We reek of sex" and I couldn't smell anything.

It came back to mind this morning that an early girlfriend and I had rented an apartment. After some good Sunday morning sex she got a call from her bff to see the apt. She duly turned up with her young daughter and girlfriend showed her the apt but was reluctant to open the bedroom 'as it was messy'. BFF insisted so she and the daughter walked in. The daughter immediately said "It smells funny in here - not bad, but funny" I saw girlfriend and BFF obviously struggling to avoid giggling. I was like what smell.

After remembering this, I sort of feel I have missed out. Think of me being blind smell wise and tell me all about it please. Is it arousing afterwards? Does it give a sense of achievement like big wet patch might? Anything and everything would be a kindness.

The smell from sex is from both you and her, and your body odor combining. When you're having sex, you both sweat and everyone's bodies smell different, so your scent and her scent mixed makes a unique scent.

It's pretty much the same thing as pheromones. Different parts of your body have different smells, so when you're having sex, both you and the girl's body produce those smells from the sweat. That's pretty much all it is.

Its a smell of sweat, semen, and vaginal secretions all mixed together. I love it actually.

I'm sure you do love it and thanks for your take. What do you get out of it may I ask? If there is a big wet patch afterwards, I get a kick out of it. Is it something like that or is it re-arousing afterwards or something else? Can you describe it? Is it different with different girls? I cam smell some things but completely be unable to smell other things. Like I can smell Poison perfume but other perfumes, other things not at all. If I stick my nose between a girl's breasts and sniff very deeply I can just sense a sweet spicy scent. Which is maybe where the rhyme "Girls are sugar and spice and everything nice" comes from. But I might be just getting some of the breast aroma with some notes dropping out if you get what I mean. It might be a bit like hearing lower frequencies of sound but not the higher frequencies. So anything you can say would be appreciated.

It actually is arousing to walk back into a room several hours later and smell everything. It makes me want a repeat of the sex that played out hours earlier. For me smells can take me back to any past memory or event. Even non-sexual smells such as perfume, the smell of a building, or a person, a movie or theater. Lol, I remember certain movies I saw in the 80’s, or a theme park anytime the smell at the time comes back. Its like an instant time machine back to the past. Add in music and its damn powerful. So the reek of sex can last hours? That's fantastic! I hadn't thought of non-sexual smells taking you back in time as you describe. Visually it happens of course and there is element of recall in that. I can still recall the first girl who gave me a diamond cutter (being a farm boy I didn't see anything very exciting very often) and any girl I see dressed a bit like her is going to cause a sharp intake of breath. Does the scent of sex vary with different girls? Be stronger with girl A than with girl B and can the scent of sex be different with girl A than with girl B. I unexpectedly heard in a podcast last night that some people have had enduring loss of smell from covid-19 and the therapy is to smell a lot of different things regularly. Apparently smell is a don't use it you lose it scenario. So maybe I can recover/develop a better sense of smell. Thanks for the motivation. I appreciate your time in filling me in.
