Personally, I like them.
I struggle with orgasming, and it helps me a great deal, especially while I'm single.
It is not the same as the real deal, because of the lack of interaction, it's usually silicone instead of skin, the temperature, and all that.

I've only tried some toys for women, and the satisfyer is by far superior, it's golden. I've heard a lot about the wand as well.
But again, that's something to experiment with and figure out what you like, want, and need.

Well, sex toys started to be made for women, so usually, it is more worth it for us than it is for guys. I would say, as long as you can go by your own hand, then just enjoy that. Unless you're just curious and want to experiment, no harm in that. It's good to have some fun in a safe way.

Some guys enjoy using toys on themselves. But I think the most appreciative users of sex toys are women. Women who have hard times climaxing usually find it easy when using a toy. And women who do not have a hard time climaxing find toys really give them outstanding orgasms, and keep going when a partner would usually give out. I think they would be well appreciated and used by most women who enjoy sex. I have even gifted toys to women who appreciated them.

Depends of your "horny level". If you really need it often like.: everyday. I think its worth to buy. I have one dildo.
But it will not replace it with a real partner. It's all a substitute. Real sex is much more exciting than with fancy items. You know?
