I'm no stranger to sexting and there's a few things everyone should do and avoid doing whether you're sexting your significant other or a complete stranger. I feel like most of these should be common sense even for amateurs but that is not the case for some.

Don't send unwanted nudes or dirty messages

No one wants to be sexually harassed. If your dirty messages are unwanted then accept it and move on.

Don't sext minors

I mean duuh, right? The age of consent might be 16 in a lot of places but teen nudes are still considered child porn. Possession of child pornography is a crime so on and so forth. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

If pictures are involved, show your body not your face

Just to be safe if you're sending dirty pictures leave out your face, tattoos, birthmarks or anything else that can lead to you being identified if they were to be leaked. If you're a nude model or porn star in the making go wild though.

Now that the obvious is out of the way...

Take both of your kinks and fantasies into consideration

If everything stays vanilla then you can skip this one. It would be smart to gauge your partner's freakiness ahead of time. Surprises mid sext session can be a mood killer. Umm, the last thing you want is to end up bickering and softening/drying up the goods. Trust me, it's not a good look.

Don't get too dirty
