Should a person be held responsible for a mistake they made when they were 15 years old for the rest of their life?

When I was 15 years old, my stepbrother used to flatter me, then he forced me to kiss him and I responded for a moment, then I stroked his hair and then I told him that this was wrong. The next day, I told my sister and she married that guy, but she excluded me from her life. What would you do if you were in such a situation?

You are not a bad person! Even if it were a more serious mistake which it wasn’t, there comes a point when people need to let things go. If you have done all you can do to be sorry and you have asked for forgiveness, then you have done all you can do. Nothing more is required of you. The problem is clearly with the other person at this point. They can either let the toxicity go and move on with their own life by forgiving you, or they can continue to be bitter and miserable for the rest of their life. But you should forgive yourself and move on. Something that happened that long ago is not worth wasting one more moment of your life over. Move on from it and learn. Be fair to yourself

Depends. 15 is old enough to know right from wrong. Someone at 15 can rape and murder, they should be held account for that.
In you case though you didn't do anything wrong, at least how you describe it. He made the move on you and you stopped it. You're sister is in denial of who she is now married to.
