Should Astronauts only be women?

Apparently NASA is considering only women on its 2.5 year trip to Mars- so no one will fuck... If sex is so bad in space, should all missions be women? Are men that horny?

The reason they're considering women has more to do with calorie budgeting. Women need less food.

That isn't really an issue in low earth orbit or the moon or anything because resupplying is possible.

  No because men are still better astronauts overall. And when your in orbit you can be resupplied anytime. So calorie budgeting isn't really an issue. But when traveling as far as Mars you can't do that there is no resupply so you have to make everything count.

  No of course not. But in general men are usually the majority in the fields required for a astronaut such as science and mathematics. on top of that men in general deal with stress better are able to stay cool under pressure better, etc things that might be required when your in space or a chaotic or dangerous situation. Our bodies are also naturally suited for the elements and what they could bring to bear better then women's. I'm not being sexist it's just biological fact and a fact in general that men typically dominate fields such as the sciences and mathematics. Because we have a greater interest in those kinds of things. If a woman wants to be an Astronaut go for I ain't gonna stop ya. And I never said men were automatically better. Men and women are fairly equal but we just excel in different things. Men have things they're superior in and women have theirs.

  It's biological. Just looking at a average man and average woman side by side will show you that our bodies are nothing alike. Men have naturally stronger muscles and denser muscle fibers our bodies gain muscle and strength at a quicker rate then women's. We're able to take more physical punishment and are more durable, we're faster. We even have body and facial hair to protect our bodies from the elements and dirt and grim. Men's facial hair can grow to be as strong as copper wire which for hair is pretty strong. And if you look at statistics for jobs men dominate the more dangerous, dirty and stressful jobs out there. And there's nothing stopping women from getting those kinds of jobs either but they don't mainly because they either wouldn't be able to do the work or because they just don't want to do those kinds of jobs.

  Wrong again. It's also proven that men and women do think differently and go about things differently and we handle things like stress and such differently as well. Which is a fact. But as fun as this is I have to cut it short I have an appointment I need to get to.
