This sounds like it could potentially be a recipe for disaster.
God forbid she’s in a bad mood being given lingerie as a gift could make her feel objectified and unappreciated.
A better idea would be to give her a romantic date and then give her a show with whatever lingerie you had planned on using.

Probably not a good idea if she already finds the idea of lingerie pointless. It probably wouldn’t be something she would enjoy receiving. Maybe get her something you know for sure she would love instead.
