Should I feel insulted? My dad said he found a pregnancy test in the trash and he just stared at me expecting me to answer?

I've never had sex and I'm waiting for marriage. What happened is my dad thought he found a pregnancy test in the trash and he indirectly implied it was mine. It was actually a covid rapid test but I felt very insulted by his accusation since I'm very religious and strictly waiting for marriage. It felt like he doesn't believe I'm a virgin and he thinks I'm like sleeping around with a bunch of guys. Should I overlook this? I can't help but feel hurt by it.

  • Correct him immediately.

    • Correct his error, and give him the opportunity to apologize. Don't allow this issue to fester and drive a wedge between you.

    • My dad never apologizes because he feels he's never wrong. And he also feels because he's the man of the house he never has to apologize. I have to apologize it anything just because I am his kid and I have to show him respect 24/7 even though he doesn't respect me and treats me however he wants like accusing me of being a whore for no reason
