Should I go for implants?

I'm 21 and this year I lost a lot of weight. Mostly due to undereating because of how stressful the entire year has been. One of the things that suffered was my boobs. I used to have nice full breasts when I was slightly overweight. And although I like my current weight my breasts have deflated. They look alright from the front at first but if I bend down - sad saggy droopy boobs. It's discouraging and makes me feel super insecure about them. I don't want to show them to a potential partner in the future. Gaining weight won't go just in the boobs, it will go allover my body. So should I just get implants to make them full again?

  • Breasts sag, over time or during weight loss. It's natural and beautiful. Changing how you look from plastic surgery will not improve your self esteem, it will only increase how much you care about other people's opinions. I encourage you to practice self love. Learn to love your body, flaws and all, because nobody is perfect and that is the beauty of our species.

You can also research ways to improve perkiness. While it does heavily depend on your body structure, saggy boobs in young women can be an indication of poor posture and weak chest muscles. Things like going without bras more often, as well as workouts such as yoga, swimming and many reps with light weights are able to help improve the way your breasts look over time, not to mention the other health benefits derived of working out. (Keep in mind that workouts yield better results when you workout every part of your body, instead of focusing on one specific area.)

Ultimately, it is your choice but one should always explore every natural option available to them before resorting to unnecessary medical procedures. Google is your friend.

  • No, you shouldn't; there is nothing wrong with saggy breasts.

Most Helpful Guys

  • Mostly no. I doubt that one can solve psychological issues with plastic surgery except in extreme cases like a fire burned your face off. Most guys prefer natural to fake. OR only minor size increase. Like going up a cup.

The larger the fake boob job the more likely it looks bad so if you go there don’t add much. Also i have relatives in the medical surgery field.. most plastic surgeons suck at it. They can show you a book full of “before” and “after” pictures of stuff they didn’t even work on. Don’t pick a doctor unless you personally know someone else they worked on & that the results were good.

  • From what I understand, what you're describing is pretty normal. Boobs are just lumps of fat; if you bend over, they're going to hang down and wobble a bit. The only way to prevent that is to make them plastic. If you want to, go ahead, but I don't think you need to personally. Every girl I've been with has had boobs exactly like you describe.

  • At the end of the day it's your body, your choice.
Now I'm saying this from my insecure opinion but I'm sure they aren't as bad as you think.
Some girls get the treatment and either feel like it's not them anymore or it just doesn't look right on them.
My personal opinion is no, but ultimately it's your decision

  • Definite no on the implants. You just need to gain back the weight and you will look fine. Its okay if some of it goes somewhere else.

  • If it would make you feel better, ok.
But, many guys ( me included) prefer smaller.

  • It's just boobs. Some guys don't care how they look.
