Should I tell my boyfriend the truth?

So I just found out I someone I use to mess around with posted a video of us on pornhub. I knew he was recording but I didn’t agree to be posted on his pornhub account. But the horrible part about it is that I have a boyfriend and I’m scared to tell him about it. Should I just be honest about it before he finds it somehwhere?

So i was able to get in contact with the guy who did it and I don't know what to say to him. I’m not gonna threaten him but I want him to know what he did was fucked up but he’s petty too and he could just repost everything on a new site or even the same site. I don't know what to do.

    • I did what you did and more I even got a lawyer but every time it was taking off of one it was found on another one it cost to much money and just because the name it's under doesn't mean other sites don't re name it

  • Honestly, I wouldn't tell him. Even if he is understanding, subconsciously it will eat away at his male pride. Just do whatever you can to get the offending videos flagged and removed. In many parts of the world revenge porn is illegal so you could even look at your legal options. But if it actually went as far as going to court, then your private business could become very public either way, so it's a tricky situation. But just speaking as a guy, I'd lose a lot of sleep knowing a girl I'm dating has porn videos of her up on the Internet, I'd support her through it since it's not her fault, but I wouldn't feel good about it. Sometimes you just gotta clean up your own messes

  • If you tell him would you know if your boyfriend will stay or leave? Is he the type to sit and listen or get frustrated and walk away? He may be angered. You might not want to tell him this just to keep y’all relationship. You don’t have to tell him unless you really feel guilty by it.

  • Report him and tell him to fuck himself for putting that shit out there without your consent and if your boyfriend gets mad tell him you had no idea he would be such a prick to betray you and tour privacy in such way

  • If he is Not on Pornhub, Let it Go. lolxx

  • Honesty is best after all its your ex's fault not yours. Why not tell us the link to the video and I'm sure we'll all give him a hard time

  • You can get the video taken down, just contact pornhub and tell them you didn't concent. They are usually pretty good about it

  • U would call the police They are ones who deal with this type of thing There is a law that covers this exact type of abuse Dont be a shamed Just be strong and get him stopped Their maybe others before or to come after That you can save others too

  • Yeah.

  • just because you got one site to delete the video. doesn't mean the guy won't try to post it other places. best to tell your current partner about how your ex has a video of you with him. so if your current partner happens to find it someday he won't be shocked by it as much. but he might question it a bit or ask to try things you did in the video with him.

    • which is why it is best to never take photos or videos of spicy content. because now that other guy can do with it as he pleases in the future.

  • Yes honesty is the best policy

  • Try to report the video and to call police for that action is your personal identity in a intimate situation

  • You can get the video removed. Start with that. Whether you feel you should mention it I personally could go wither way with... largely because it would not be a big deal to me. I mean, this seems so damn common anymore that I would not be surprised to eventually meet some women with an ex, a fling, or one night stand who post a video of them knocking boots or whatever. I do know that most guys may fee otherwise so I am likely in the small minority here.

  • yes be honest. since you are in the video, report it to pornhub. while your at it, check other sites incase he has posted it elsewhere too. pretty much all of them have roughly the same policy about your consent not being given. i could list quite a few other sites to check but not in public seeing as kids can see them too, as well some have some really raunchy names too.

  • Its better that it comes from you, rather than him finding out through alternative means. I know if i were in his shoes i would be pissed of at your ex when you told me.

    • "So I’ve contacted Pornhub and they deleted his account " There is something called the way back machine on the internet. Nothing is ever truly deleted.

  • Yes, I think honesty is your best option right now, aside from contacting the site to get the video removed.

  • Contact pornhub, they will delete it instandly... just tell them that you're on the video and have not agreed that he puts it online

And never ever touch another guy while you have a boyfriend, thats just not okay

    • I didn’t it was from a long time ago

  • Yes. Honesty is ideal.

  • Yes be honest

  • yes, be honest. And contact pornhub to have the video taken down.

  • I believe this is what you would call revenge porn which is illegal. I would contact PornHub and have the video removed and contact your local police to report the crime.

  • If it is possible he will. The chance coming across it is pretty remote.
    Does he use pornhub?

  • You can contact PornHub and they'll remove it.

    • Update: he can repost it, but virtually every site can be contacted and the video being removed. I do understand your problem though, because it isn't worth your time or effort to look for it.

  • Report the video.
