it sounds like a good idea in theory but I think a lot of young folks give up their virginity because that’s what they want with the person they want within that moment.

Course they should be allowed. Personally I think prostitution should be legal purely for the safety of the people involved. I don't think it should be celebrated or seen as a powerful move because it isn't but it seems like a ridiculous thing to make illegal. If two consenting adults make an agreement and no one is being made to anything against their will then I can't see why the government needs to get involved by making laws against it
