Superb Opinion

  • So I'm going to have a very unpopular opinion

I was circumcised as a child and personally I've been mad about it for a long long time so while I am biased I would like to mention that it's not your dick and it's not his father's dick

The idea of circumcision as a baby is basically "let me cut this peice of your dick off before you can even talk so that way YOU fit MY STANDARDS because your MY darling little angel and MY PROPERTY"
Again it's gonna be an unpopular opinion but having the background that I do I can't quite see it any other way

I know some people are going to have different preferences but that's exactly why you can't just go cutting off people's body parts that you deem "unwanted" before they can even develop ability to speak like c'mon

    Also back ground information
I was circumcised once and the failed and actually the somehow botched operation had side effects that after I was about 4 years old started causing problems so then they did it again to "fix it" and to this day I'm still sour about it because because first off those issues were caused by the first operation then second this was when I was 4 and I can still remember some of it very well (not the operation of course but I can remember the sedation as well as what I did after I woke up) and finally this was done without my permission and now even if wanted that part of my body attached to me I can't have it as a part me of and the memory of me being restrained while a creepy lookin doctor put some stupid thing on my face (while I'm powerless to stop it) is now forever etched into my ever so spiteful memory

    • No I am not insinuating that every child is going to have the freakish memory that I do or the horrible experience I did

    • But there is always a chance they're going to have an experience similar to me and if they're mad at you for what happened then remember they do have a good reason

    • Ultimately I'm not even sure if there's actually a good answer

  • It should be up to the dad, this way the mother doesn't have to make that decision and the father can do what a man is supposed to do and take the blame for making largely impossible decisions for his family.

When I have a kid and I make that decision, I'll be the one to take any blame for whatever decision we make together. A mother's place in a family is one of trust and safety.

That's how I was raised anyway.

  • No parenr should ger a say in this. It should be illegal, period. The only exceptions should be when it’s medically indicated because of for example issues with tight foreskin. Parents being allowed to decide to cut part of their childs body off for no real (and by real I mean medical) reason is disgusting.

  • Permanent body modifications should be left up to the individual upon reaching adulthood.

  • The only person who should have a say is the boy himself, when he becomes a man- barring *genuine* medical necessity, that is.

  • I find this question amusing since you're asking whether a female should have an opinion on a male's body (suggesting that they shouldn't) and yet, the subject of whether a man should have an opinion on a woman's body is constantly under debate.
So, fk yes, a woman should be able to tell a man what they can do with their penis for as long as a man decides they can determine what a woman does with her womb.

    • But men dont decide about abortion. They have opinions about it. Big difference

    • No no no. Don’t pull some “what aboutism” bullshit. Answer the question honestly without letting your passion for other issues influence you. Unless you can’t do that. You know... be objective.🤷‍♂️

    • @Agagagagaga lol. Honestly, I have no opinion on this. For myself, I would leave that decision to the child (I don't have kids because I don't like kids so I'm speaking my unsolicited opinion), just as I would everything else concerning their body and identity. As well as their beliefs, political opinion, friendships/relationships, etc. I suppose what I'm saying is that I don't think that anyone (man or woman) should "have a say" in anything concerning another person's body, thoughts, beliefs, etc. For the record, It wasn't some weird "what aboutism". It was an "eye for an eye" if anything. As long as a man thinks they can control a woman's body, a woman sure as fk has the right to control a man's. I'm an equal opportunist.

  • The only person who should get a say is the person who is likely to be mutilated without their consent.

nothing should be done until that person can legally consent.

  • It should only be left up to the child when he is old enough to make an informed decision for himself unless absolutely medically necessary (which is very rare in children).

  • You're the mother you just carried your son for 9 months yes you have every right in the world and I would do what you want to do I would get the kids circumcised though for sure

  • Of course it should be a joint decision between both partents.

  • Should only be the child's say since it's his body

    • Bingoooo

  • Frankly, NO ONE should have a say about circumcision except the person getting it. In other words, the circumcision of minors should be illegal. Period.

  • The only person who should gets to decide is the kid themselves when they are old enough.

  • I’m yes of course…. We’re not in the stone ages.

    • So you are pro circ?

    • @Gflared pro-choice… and a conservative…. Yes. I don’t blve in the government funding billions to “planned parenthood”…. It’s just a liberal piggy bank for election donations. Jus another “taxpayer” funded liberal piggy bank.

    • Well i didn't understand what you mean lol, not all of us are from USA so be clear pls.

  • I think the child should decide when he is old enough.

  • I was a baby, I didn't give a shit. I'm kind of glad I was circumcised as you can have a couple medical conditions with them, like being far too tight and the skin tearing during an erection. And easier to keep nice and clean haha.

  • I definitely think moms should have a say on this issue. And hopefully that say would be saying "absolutely not" to genital mutilation.

  • That's something both parents should agree on (as they should on abortion as well).

  • It should be illegal!

  • "Should women get a say on whether their male son gets circumcised or not?"
"Should men get a say on whether their female daughter gets a tattoo, piercing, or not?"

  • Yes women should get a say as to whether their male son gets circumcised or not I was circumcised and I can say that growing up as a teen my male hormones raged and I never had a problem with getting hard and you wouldn't believe how much I cummed and orgasm I'd wake up from a wet dream still horny and hard had to masturbate again to relieve my horniness this all started age 13 at the worst but in 5th grade, I masturbated in the classroom and went in the bathroom to finish myself off

  • Both parents should make the decision.

  • No, because neither parent should get a say on that matter, it's not their body. Let him decide for himself when he's old enough.

  • No one should. Its his body, neither the father nor the mother should have a say
