Girls, Should you be having sex if you don’t want to get pregnant?

  • Some women act like how did this happen knowing well they didn’t use protection.

  • Sex isn't just for procreation, there are health benefits, both physiological and psychological, that accompany it. But I will say that if one isn't ready to have a child, there are many ways to go about NOT getting pregnant & both parties involved should take the precautions (condom, birth control, Plan B) and of one DOES end up pregnant the woman needs to decide whether or not she wants to HAVE the baby (abortion) & KEEP the baby (adoption).
But I agree that people need to stop acting surprised when they are sexually active that they get (someone) pregnant UNLESS they WERE taking the precautions to make sure it didn't happen. Although even with taking every precaution it's only 99% effective that one won't end up pregnant. Condoms can rip, Birth Control might be a bad batch (if on pill), Plan B is only effective before a certain number of days have passed and even then not 100% if taken immediately after sex.
But sex is more than just for procreation, women should enjoy everything about their bodies and the euphoria that can accompany it.

    • Good answer. I think I should have ask if you’re sexually active why act surprise if you become pregnant knowing you don’t want kids?

  • Sure, know your cycle, take your birth control, make sure the other party wraps it. Just be safe and communicate, but if you choose not to be, be prepared for the consequences of your own actions.

  • Yes you should be... preferably if you're on birth control or being safe but thats a personal preference 😆

  • Let’s rephrase the premise of your question. Technically no woman or MAN should have sex if they don’t want to risk pregnancy. Even with birth control, all methods have a failure rate and you accept those risks when you have sex. It’s very often the guy who panics or gets angry after the fact when he knew full well what his actions could lead to. Let’s not pretend it’s just women who are in this boat.

    • I was dating a girl before who got pregnant the first time but used stuff to get rid of the baby. The second time she got pregnant and kept the baby. She said it was her fault because she held him tight when he came so both parties are to blame.
