Should you take your socks off before you have sex?

A couple days ago right before we had sex, I got naked and reached down to take off my socks as I always do. After the fact, my girlfriend asked me why I always take them off before we fuck. I told her I just think it's kinda tacky and looks dumb to have sex with nothing but socks on and it's true, it's a major pet peeve I guess. What do you think?

i dont mind a guy leaving his socks on because their feet tend to not be cute and pretty like womans because we get out nails done... but for me i like my socks off during sex so i he can see my cute nail polish.. unless their my super cute tube socks that look really stylish.. i guess its a girl thing... but for me i dont care if a guy wears his socks... now sneakers would be weird because that means you put them on after you got naked.. but its a personal choice...

My ex used to always leave his socks on when we had sex. It was very odd to me and it was a small turn off. Given, we lived in the mountains and it was often very cold... it is hard to have sex when you are more cold than horny. So that was more understandable. But in the summer or when the heat actually worked, 'twas a silly thing.

If it bothers you, then take them off.

I'm too worried about other things to worry about socks. I have noticed socks still being worn, but it didn't bother me. I didn't take the time out to think about how it looks. Who cares.

To the best of my knowledge, science says women should wear them and men don't. Why? No socks means more cold in your feet. Cold tightens your legs blood vessels, which slows down heart rate, which reduces sensitivity in the phallus (you last longer). The inverse is also true to women, it's easier for women to achieve an orgasm if they are wearing socks.
