If you are being intimate on a bed with sheets, wearing sneakers or any other kind of shoes is not really recommended because they are not hygienic.

Those shoes have stepped on dirt, dust, perhaps worms, excrement and then the people are fornicating on those sheets with the very high risk to get an infection from soiled shoes.

The genital area of a woman is a very delicate body part that does not react very well to germs found on shoe soles.

Not something I've experienced, but I'd imagine most women would be willing to at least give it a try. Might want to make sure they're clean, though; it'd do a number on the sheets. Maybe keep a separate pair for it; they'd be cleaner and last longer.
