Society's Fake Standards: Why do we still follow them?

"We are finally breaking out of beauty standards and 2015 may be the start of a new year in which we embrace everyone"

WRONG!

SOCIETY'S FAKE STANDARDS: why do we still follow them?

Recently I was reading an article on what being small chested was like (as a 34B cup girl weighing 113 pounds and being about 5' tall) I am what's considered flat chested? But am I really? No... I'm not I look extremely well proportioned.

Regardless this article from cosmopolitan went on to saying that "small" chested women craved attention to their breast because apparently we never get any... In that moment I was like, "EXCUSE ME?!"

My boyfriend of two years loves my boobies... It also went on to say that we hate boob men... My boyfriend is a boob guy and he LOVES my boobs... In fact he hates big massive fake tits.

WHY ARE BOOBS (A, B, and now ridiculously C cups) considered small?

1. What makes defines your boobs as small is your band size and not so much the cup.

2. No one ever looks at proportion.

A skinny girl or some underweight girls cannot have gigantic tits out of nowhere. Also being "petite" which really means short...and being thin or at an appropriate weight if you are proportionate you having big boobs really looks terrible.

Society's Fake Standards: Why do we still follow them?

The girl here is lovely, but if her breast are fake (I doubt) they look out of proportion. She looks out of proportion and top heavy.

Society's Fake Standards: Why do we still follow them?

The girls here are proportionate, they're skinny, but you can't expect them to have gargantuan breast.

Society's Fake Standards: Why do we still follow them?

These girls are proportionate, the first girl is a bit too skinny but her breast also reflect that... The second girl is at the perfect weight and although many people would probably consider her breast small are they really small on her? No, they're medium sized breast on her.

Society's Fake Standards: Why do we still follow them?

This person looked lovely without her boob job, but now notice how she instantly looks top heavy... She looked in proportion with her body's weight?, but she was a victim to what society wants.

Many men have said they don't like fake breast... The look might be appealing but not the feel.

One of the things I find grossest is when breast jobs are overdone.

Another craze has been the need for ASS! ASS. ASS.

Society's Fake Standards: Why do we still follow them?

The number of women who have undergone risky surgeries to get bubble butts to the extreme have sky rocketed... Brazilian butt lifts are the hottest thing right now and many celeberties sport them.

A lot of women try to justify their actions by saying that they're doing it for a man. If you feel pressured by a guy to change yourself you're clearly not meant to be. A lot of women also claim that its alright for their guy to watch porn... After all he desires you... Really? He desires you but he's jacking off to women that look nothing like you? Don't be fooled... Watching porn just for the act doesn't cut it... If a guy was really into you he would go and do you... Same goes for women.

Regardless and going back to the main point, these standards are so fake and highly impossible... I think we should focus more on what looks nice and makes us proportionate in our bodies... And one more thing... Big boobs and an ass on a short person isn't the best look... You look stout and just like a very messed up pony.

Society's Fake Standards: Why do we still follow them?

If you want a big butt, workout, but do it for yourself, if you want that six pack work out for that! Don't push yourself over the limit. And remember proportions are important, so if you look better with something because you have a small frame stay like that, because many of these women only have "BIG BOONS AMD BUTTS ARE A MUST HAVE", but they don't realize that maybe that won't look good with them because of how they are build and its true, nobody is truly the same.

So women stop blaming men... So what if they supposedly started the trend, why follow them? After all you have the power over yourself, and as for guys don't ask a girl for something impossible... And if a chick asks you to change, clearly they're not meant for you. Because not every guy looks nice with a six pack...

Beauty always lies in the eye of its beholder and you have to learn to love yourself before you love someone else... So don't be lustful because nothing lasts forever.

  • "Regardless this article from cosmopolitan"

    Stopped reading there.

Throw it in the trash, problem solved.

Anyone with an ounce of sense knows that rag is not based on anything remotely resembling reality. It's all sensationalist lies designed to make you impulse buy the thing.

    • Agreed

  • Societies change, and I imagine in the future, we'll just exchange one fake standard for another.

I read this once: It is all a fake, of course; the figures in the popular art are falsely drawn; the real women in bathing suits or tights are actually pinched in and propped up to make them appear firmer and more slender and more boyish than nature allows a full-grown woman to be. Yet at the same time, the modern world is taught to believe that it is being “frank” and “healthy” and getting back to nature. As a result we are more and more directing the desires of men to something which does not exist—making the rôle of the eye in sexuality more and more important and at the same time making its demands more and more impossible.

  • At the beginning it seemed to me like you were just trying to make the point that what's a small cup size on one girl is big on another. This is true but really confused me.
I was under the impression that you wanted to point out the fact that boob size doesn't define your worth or beauty. You lost me

  • Any post that calls out the bullshit of female false advertising gets a standing ovation from me.

  • I agree 100 percent

    • The only problem I have is that you say it's about proportions but what if a person is someone like me who is tall and has wide hips, broad shoulders, a naturally biggish butt but small boobs ( I'm like a 34b as well) that look really unproportionate? They only way I can "make" myself proportionate would to get breast implants. You can't judge everyone who gets plastic sugery, and I would only get around a c cup or so.

  • I am a butt guy so boobs don't really bother me...

And i like medium boobs but only if they are 100% natural... i even like small boobs like in the 2nd and 3rd pic... those are really good and natural

When it comes to butts... i like small ones... not the big once... big butts like niki minaj are totally disgusting and it looks like these women need to work out... small toned and round butts are the best...

    Example -

    • Exactly.

    • Agreed. Small rounded toned butts are the best.

  • Let's face it.

Only skanky freaky idiot girls would deliberately get their butts inflated like that.

And most people still prefer a slim girl like taylor swift over a busty assy girl like Kim K.

According to 60k men and women from various countries.

  • Okay I somewhat agree with what you are trying to say but you said things like "this girl is too skinny" therefore aren't you judging her? And also I think that if a girl feels happier with fake boobs and a fake ass then more power to her, our bodies are temporary and I think it's not a big deal to change them to make yourself happier, because your emotional state is the most important thing. I wouldn't do those things myself but I can relate to the girls who don't feel good enough and end up doing it, I don't judge them, I feel compassionate for them.

  • Women need to stop attempting to blame men for their own vanity. You always have a choice. The fact that you chose to let someone else's standards influence the way you want to look is no one's fault but your own. Get that through your head. Start acting like an adult.

    • -.- please re read what I said.

    • "So women stop blaming men... So what if they supposedly started the trend, why follow them? • fake is fake that is why i don't like make up on girls, just occasional is fine :-)

  • Who cares if girls or real looking or not

    • Apparently a lot of men. And women do.

    • Most men would still fuck them though So it doesn't really matter

    • And girls opinions don't matter for other girls unless they're a lesbian

    • Show All
  • Amen to that.

  • To be frank, this post reeks of insecurity.

Posting pictures of extremely attractive girls and then declaring them "disproportionate" and promoting "unattainable beauty standards" is nothing more than jealousy masquerading as some sort of "social analysis".

Yes, a lot of girls have big tits, pretty faces, AND slender bodies to boot. No, it's not abnormal or "unattainable", because they clearly attained it.

Being an adult means being able to deal with the fact that there are people who are better than you. If you can't do this, you are a child.

    • Jealousy? Excuse me... How does it reek oh jealousy? Oh so I'm not extremely attractive? Listen bud, the people I posted which are celeberties obtained all of this through surgery and pounds of makeup, its obtainable but fake and unlike you it blinds common women into spending countless of dollars on risky surgeries to obtain figures like those and quite frankly creates insecurity amongst the public.., also I'm engaged so why would I feel insecure when I honestly think I'm beautiful the way I am. If you think being vain and fake is beauty go ahead. Yeah there's always someone better than you but I see someone being "better" than me through actions, not physical matters because looks don't last forever.

    • Posting pictures of top heavy girls (read:big breasted) and saying they look "disproportionate" is the definition of jealousy.

    • Desiring to have something you don't have is ENVY, not jealousy. -.- which is what I know you're trying to hint at. Also I said she was lovely, I don't know how that's being jealous... Why would I be jealous if I am proportionate? :/

  • Trick the male visual senses means women get more resources from men.

  • lol yea fake ones are pretty ugly, dont know whats hype about nicki minaj and beyonce? lol they aren't hot at all tbh and for most of guys or me at least

    Skinny > fat
    Big boobs > small ones
    Big ass > small ones
    Long legs > small ones

There you go, thats fully media proof lol

  • Girls who do these "jobs" are straight out whores.

  • Holy mother of god. I've never noticed how fucking weird Nicki Minaj's ass is.

  • Lol. Yes! I definetly think the best way to demolish our incorrect beauty standards is to assert your own! Of course too big boobs are super inporportianal and disgusting and we should all abide by your opinions of them! That's definetly how we solve this issue of women not liking their bodies! Tell them once again thier bodies should like like something else! You should also totally be the one to tell women what to do with thier money! And as a guy I totally agree that if I ever I mean ever watch porn its definetly only because I'm not satisfied with my partner and it totally has nothing to do with me being a fucking dude that grew up watching and still likes porn because you know us men guys way better than what we ourselves and any guy that ever says that he still finds his partner attractive despite watching porn is defintely a liar despite almost every guy ever saying this! Man I'm glad you straightened this all out for us. Big thanks kid.

  • "She looks out of proportion and top heavy."
"the first girl is a bit too skinny"

It's ironic that you're saying we should stop following trends and yet you're shaming women for not having ideal bodies according to your standards. Also just stop reading Cosmopolitan, it's not to be take seriously.

  • I wish more women would realize it's about how the face looks, and not the body. It would stop extreme measures like starvation diets, or plastic surgery.

    • Body counts too. It's just that people don't realize that a healthy body is what is beautiful.

    • Doesn't matter how good or healthy the body is if the face is ugly. The body doesn't matter.
