Anything taken to an extreme will often be looked down upon. You can't just take an extreme stance in life and expect to have no one expressing disapproval of it. You can't mutilate your genitalia because you believe that you are not 'assigned' the right gender and expect for everyone to think that it's normal. There are no unicorn genders. There are biologically two genders whether that offends you or not. Having a penis or vagina is not a social construct. Thank you, have a good a day.

There are only two genders. That's a biological reality. These people have a genetic mutation. THey make up a VERY small amount of the population. chit happens for them. I pity them, but that doesn't mean they are a different gender. It just means their mutation prevents them from being part of the two-gender system. And no amount of rhetoric will change that. Biologically we are meant to be men and women. Simple as that. Actually, if you bothered to study biology, you would understand that there is more than just Penis or Vagina.
Most people are born with chromosome pairs XX or XY. But there are other combinations that appear, including XXY (Klinefelter syndrome) or just X (Turner syndrome). These are rare, but they do in fact exist. And "When you consider that there are 7,000,000,000 alive on the planet, there are almost assuredly tens of millions of people who are not male or female." (quote from www.joshuakennon.com/.../)
The American Psychological Association (https://www. apa. org/topics/lgbt/intersex. aspx) discusses what it means to be intersex, and offers some examples of intersex conditions, including: ~Vaginal agenesis, in which female infants are born without a vagina ~Penile agenesis, in which male infants are born without a penis ~Partial androgen insensitivity, in which cells do not respond normally to testosterone and related hormones, causing incomplete masculinization of the genitals in male infants ~Klinefelter and Turner syndromes, which I also listed above ~There are more you can read about if you wish to actually study science instead of making sweeping generalizations about a group of people you actually know nothing about.
^Everything I discussed above has nothing to do with transgender people. These are all NATURALLY occurring conditions. So yes, there is more than 2 genders. To say there isn't is an insult to anyone born with these conditions.
Thank you, have a good day :)

Opinion Owner

@smølf So what gender is someone XXY? If a "male" is born with penile agenesis, which as I stated above means he is born without a penis, what is he then? Is he still a man? The way people talk about masculinity today, he "doesn't have the balls to be a man," "a guy without a dick is not a man," and "you need a big dick to get chicks." The way we talk about gender is harmful to people born with these conditions. @FakeName123, what is your point by bringing up cancer? Since you want to ignore the genders of the people suffering from these conditions, are you saying that we should ignore the suffering of cancer patients too? People shave their heads in order to make cancer patients who go bald not feel alienated. So why is it so hard to accept intersex as a third gender in order to make these people not feel alienated? These conditions aren't standard, but considering how many people are on this planet, even a condition that is 1 in 1,000 means there are millions of people like that.
Show All Show Less
FakeName123
+1 y
I am saying they are sick. Simple as that. They are a biological and genetical abnormality. Yes, they might be neither male or female or both depending on your point of view. But thats a ridiculously small percentage of people and has nothing to do with those who are completely biologically male or female but say they are "born in the wrong body".
Opinion Owner
+1 y
@FakeName123 Yes it's a small percentage, but considering the billions of people on this planet, that means there are MILLIONS of people who are intersex. You want to ignore MILLIONS of people who are NATURALLY born this way? When you say "only two genders exist" or "intersex doesn't exist," you are IGNORING THE PLIGHTS OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE. That is extremely heartless.
FakeName123
+1 y
I will go out on a limp and say that when most people say there are only two gender they are refering to the increased amount of people who identify themselves as transgender while they are biologically clearly one or the other. I doubt anyone would drastically discriminate against a known case of biological mutagation.
Opinion Owner
+1 y
@FakeName123 but what you fail to understand is that when you say "There are only 2 genders" you ARE discriminating against the millions who are born intersex or with one of those chromosomal deviations. When you say "Real Men Have Dicks," you are discriminating against someone born with penile agenesis. Saying there is only Male and Female is BIOLOGICALLY INCORRECT. In your mind you think that you are just making a statement about people who are transgender, but really your statement is biologically false and harmful to people who are born intersex. You ARE discriminating against them, whether you mean to or not.
FakeName123
+1 y
Then these people need to stop being so overly sensitive. Generalisations will always result in exceptions. If these people find it offensive that they are the exception then its frankly not my problem. I neither have the interest nor will waste the time to try and make it right for every single person on earth. For example I could make a "yo mama"-joke within a crowd where someones mother just passed away. So what? It can happen. No one is allknowing nor capable of mindreading. But its ridiculous to think you can adjust your life into a direction you might not accidentally step onto someones feet.
Opinion Owner
+1 y
@FakeName123 Of course you could always accidentally insult or hurt someone. But denying the existence of millions of people is a lot more than accidentally making a joke about mothers in front of one person who is motherless. Saying there are only 2 genders is not just simply offensive, it's harmful. It can deeply affect a person's mental health. Plus, it's scientifically wrong, which is what my whole point is. Your statement is not simply "offensive," it's just false. The Original Poster's intention was to use biology to back up his bullying, so I posted to inform him that his premise is false. If you want to keep saying "there are only 2 genders" and continue to bully people born with biological anomalies, that is your choice, but please don't pretend that your bullying statements are backed up by science.
Fearless_banana

All of that babble you said is true but just because there is diversity doesn't mean that there are more than two genders lol. Male/Female... literally nothing else you can say. But there are only two genders. Thats a biological reality. These people have a genetical mutation. Shit happens for them. I pity them, but that doesn't mean they are a different gender. You literally did not read anything I said lol. I will once again repeat myself, yes the birth defect is just a small percentage, but since there are billions of people on Earth that "small" percentage means that there are MILLIONS of people born this way. So you want to ignore those millions of people because they are not relevant enough? By your logic, we should just ignore other disabilities. Let's just ignore the state of Delaware, since it's such as small percentage!!! And I will repeat this as well: In your mind, the people born this way are not the ones you are referring to, but that's not what came across in your statement. If you want to ignore MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, that is your choice (albeit a cruel choice), but you CANNOT pretend that you are scientifically correct! Your statement is SCIENTIFICALLY WRONG. How many times do I have to say it?
Fearless_banana
+1 y
I'm not ignoring disabilities. I understand that is an issue but there is still only male/female lol. Literally that's all there is to it. You can't just negate that because of your feelings.
Opinion Owner
+1 y
@FakeName123 "that doesn't mean they are a different gender. It just means their mutation prevents them from being part of the two-gender system." ... so don't you see that there are flaws to our 2-gender system? The American Psychological Association link that I posted originally talks about how doctors struggle to "assign" a gender to those born intersex. It's just a bunch of doctors consulting with the child's family that decides if this child is going to be male or female. And then they perform surgery in an attempt to make that child as "male" or "female" as possible according to that choice. But instead of having doctors decide if a child should be male or female, why don't we just accept intersex as a third gender?
FakeName123
+1 y
What is the need for a third gender. Instead doctors should write into the gender-section what actually is the case - that due to a fetal mutation there is no clear gender until the child is old enough to decide for themselves. I do agree though that parents and doctors shouldn't force it upon those children, because it will create psychologica harm. I remember the case where a boy was from birth been treated like a girl based on a psychological study and the psychologist claimed how it was successful. Unfortunately later on that boy comitted suicide. But that is once again irrelevant. Those intersex people are of no gender. Their gender is identifiable and a mutation. But that mutation doesn't make them a new gender, they just aren't part of the gender system. Once again. People are male or female just like they have 10 fingers. Those who aren't are simple mutations which are not part of that biological reality. Shit happens, but it is what it is.
Opinion Owner
+1 y
@Take Owner but there ISN'T just male/female. When a child is born with both male and female aspects, which are they? Biologically, they are both - or neither, depending on how you look at it. THEN doctors decide whether the child should be "male" or "female" in order to make it so. SOCIETY decided there is just male and female, but there are people born in between. As humans we usually classify those in-between as one or the other, but that's humans just deciding. You are the one who is negating biology based on your feelings.
Fearless_banana
+1 y
That's a birth defect. There is no reason to classify less than 1% of the population into a third gender. There is male/female this is a fact lol. There are no unicorn genders.

@FakeName123 "What is the need for a third gender. Instead doctors should write into the gender-section what actually is the case - that due to a fetal mutation there is no clear gender until the child is old enough to decide for themselves." Third gender, third option, it's the same thing you are just calling it by a different name. But you agree with me, that there should be a third option for these children. That these children are not automatically born Male or Female. "Those intersex people are of no gender. Their gender is identifiable and a mutation. But that mutation doesn't make them a new gender, they just aren't part of the gender system." Okay, again I think we are agreeing we are just calling it different things. You agree that these people are not born Male or Female and therefore aren't part of the gender system. So what are they, if not a third "gender" or a third option? Biologically, they don't fit with the idea of 2 genders.
FakeName123
+1 y
But it is NOT a third gender. It is them having a genetical birth defect. God damn it. A gender would be something that would be biological normality. And if you can't understand nor accept that biological reality, then I am clearly wasting my time with you. You can post all sorts of educated medical papers, but if your conclusions are off it doesn't make your point correct.
Opinion Owner
+1 y
@FakeName123 And I get what you're saying with the 10 fingers example, but my point is that it is scientifically false to say "there are only 2 genders" just as it is scientifically false to say "All people are born with 10 fingers." Sure, people born with 9 or 11 fingers is rare enough that in general we just talk about people having 10. But the Original Poster thinks that his statement is backed by science, which it is not. Just like the statement "All people have 10 fingers" is scientifically false, although it seems irrelevant.
Opinion Owner

@Take Owner But it's not less than 1% of the population. You cannot throw false facts at me and pretend you are being logical.

@FakeName123 Having red hair is ALSO a genetic mutation. So by your logic, having red hair is not a biological normality? @smølf "There are only two genders on earth, the rest is something else." And what is that "something else"? ... A 3rd option! There are people born as "something else," I'm not sure why that's so hard to comprehend. @Take Owner clearly you do not wish to have an educated discussion. I have been talking about biology, plain and simple. You are trying to derail the conversation by tackling identity. That is a separate conversation. You failed to address anything that I said in my comments. You seem to think that you can just make ludicrous statements to prove your point or make me angry- either way it's not working. smølf

Science does indeed back it up. The 3rd option is called syndrome, birth defects etc.. Now if you by intersex mean hermaphroditism, Klinefelter and Turner syndromes etc. then indeed it exists. But intersex is also used as an ideological word in political agitation more than in science, it's used in non science ways. For instance by saying there exist more genders than two, there really doesn't only male and female exists and then all the anomalies - gender neutral at best. Transgender as you said, have very little to do with that. Althoung a deficiency may cause the wish for sexchange.

@smølf "Now if you by intersex mean hermaphroditism, Klinefelter and Turner syndromes etc. then indeed it exists." ... exactly. It does exist. That is what I mean! I keep repeating myself and it seems as if none of you are reading what I am saying.

Do not mix small genetic mutations like blue eyes or red hair, both perfectly within our healthy gene pool unlike defects like hermaphroditism, no arms or legs or whatnot. That said we have male, female and anomalies somewhere in-between, it's still only two genders and a mix. Just like black and white , in a mix you get gray, but not blue, red or green.

@smølf But gray is still a color. Yes, it's a mix of black and white, but it's also it's own color. You would never hear someone say "grey isn't a color. Black and white are called colors, but grey isn't called a color because it's just a mix." And how come you get to decide that red hair is fine but hermaphroditism isn't? Some of the syndromes have health complications, I'll grant you that, but there are also intersex people who leave totally healthy lives, it's just that their hormones and therefore sex organs are slightly different from yours. But they are still totally healthy people despite this mutation.

My point was, gray shades are shades of mixed black and white not entire new colour. But yes, you have an almost infinite amount of gray shades all colours, but regardless of combinations you only have male, female and non or both on earth. Since non or both genres are not a separate genders, my point stands, although my illustration was insufficient.

Yeah I feel you, but gender and sex aren't the same thing.
and then I don't even know if there's just two sexes because though rare, hermaphrodites with both genitalia fully functioning DO exists, and then there's people with Klinefelter's syndrome.

Sex and gender is used synonymously. Chromosome anomalies are called syndromes.

What about intersex people? People who are born with sexual organs of both sexes to various degrees? Are you going to force gender labels onto them?

That's an extremely rare occurance and a birth defect. I'm not referring to individuals with birth defects. I'm referring to people that were born with normal genatalia and decide to nullify biology because of their feelings.

You're talking about transgender individuals or just gender queer individuals or both? When it comes to people who are transgender they have a very high suicide rate if they don't have a loving and supporting structure around them. The earlier they can transition, the better off they are being their true and authentic selves. It's fine if you don't want to agree with it but you have to accept that lives are at stake. The stats are very grim for transgender kids and teens who aren't accepted and allowed to transition. The medical assistance to do that has astronomical costs. But hey keep on keeping on man.
Fearless_banana

Sure and that's terrible but mental health issues are are aside from this. Suicide should be tackled head on with mental health. That's is the way to prevent suicide. Tell people there are unicorn genders and using exogenous hormones to fulfill this made up unicorn gender is only escalating the issue. You say label is if that's some derogatory term... Male and female is not derogatory.

That is good for their mental health to live as what they identify with and have people around them who love and accept then as they are.

I agree. Only male and female. There's no in between.
What Girls & Guys Said
29 35100% correct.
Absolutely right on! Everything you just said. It's retarded.
What about manginas?
Anyone know that Milo transgender fruitloop? Posted a video on Youtube saying all cisgenders are transphobic... he/she/whatever/cunt thinks there are millions of genders...
Fucking barmy I tell ye.
I've heard people calling sex a construct lol...
If you have XY chromosomes you are a male and if you have XX chromosomes you are a female. You can only be a female or male.
They have a mental illness called gender dysphoria but no other mental illness is treated by giving these people what they want, nobody lets anorexic people be anorexic to cure them it does not work like that. So why would we give these people what they want? I think its the wrong approach.
There are two SEXES not genders. Sex and gender are two different things.
No they are not actually. Those are synonymous
Wrong again. Sex is biological while gender is social. Go educate yourself.
Again more bullshit made up by these same people
This guy lol
Ok honestly I think your right, but look man people are all different and we as human beings were not meant to do a lot of shit lol, we probably weren't even ment to make it this far and become the apex of the world but we did lol my point shit changes and who's to say we will even stay human you know, maybe one day humans will modify them selves to be superhuman cyborgs or even genderless my point is that a lot of shit we do was already made up anyways so why even criticize these people let them do what they want even if it's wrong, shit people are scared of change, shit monogamy is completely unnatural but people still participate in that lol we ain't gonna stay the same forever humans will evolve past all this bullshit anyways.
by accepting that gays are meant to be gays and the are designed to be gays
why not accept that there is men designed to be girl
there is men designed to love kids
it is a social construct that girls can't act like guys and the same thing the other way, that is why the only 2 genders is a problem
People are entitled to act how they choose but that doesn't render biology and science null.
many people that are transgender felt this way since they were kids, it has do with biology sometimes
They are still male or female. Homosexuality doesn't mean you are the opposite gender.
but you can't say they are a girl or a boy just because they have a penis or a vagina. and What this have to do with homosexuality?
I actually can say they are a boy or girl because they have a penis or vagina. That is actually a biological indicator of whether they are male or female.
if even the government can change your documents to show that you are no longer the same gender, why wouldn't you accept that the person is the other gender just because of a penis or vagina
No I wouldn't. That doesn't take away from the fact that they are male or female.
ok be a close minded person and live like you are in 1800
That's not closed minded. That's factual biology.. There is only male or female whether you don't want to believe it or not.
I don't care about what you think
Lol there no is hard feelings but you are entitled to think what you want. I'm just saying that there is only male and female and that is factual.
I didn't disagree with that
What are you disagreeing with?
that the person needs to have a dick to be considered a man
Well yeah it's the truth lol. That's factual. There is no debate about that.
ok... you know I don't agree with that
please go back to school we dont have time for 16 years olds who think they know the world better than anyone else.
No matter how much you try to use rhetorics - in the end guys have XY chromosomes and girls have XX chromosomes. No amount of "you can't say that they are a boy or a girl" will change that. Its like saying "you can't say red is red, it can also be green or purple". No, red is ultimatively red no matter what you are trying to make it to be.
@FakeName123 she doesn't think with her mind but rather with her feelings, she feels sympathy for those poeple so she is going to deny any fact you give her regardless of how true it might be, i studied biology and genetics in college and a male is XY and Female is XX , even in extreme cases when there is a genetic defect it will not make a boy a girl or a girl a boy a child might be born XXY or XYY or XXX or XO but for the most part he is still considered a male or a female.
@IceCubedude at least my main argument isn't someone age
actually if that was your main argument at least it would be more intillegent
@IceCubedude think wathever you want, no one gives a fuck I just don't see why you didn't wrote your opinion you just saw the need of saying my is wrong
mine*
The problem with the world is that now kids and teens think they know more than they actually do. Everybody is entitled to his/her opinion but not everybody is entitled to his/her facts. Facts and opinions are two different things. Humanity would progress more only if kids stick to their books and not bother themselves with big existential questions. That comes later.
@minuteman12 you talk so much about facts but I only see a opinion on what you said
@lost_alice the reason you saw an opinion on what I said is that you are very young and have so much to see. I'd suggest you to take up your studies very seriously and not worry about any existential threats. There will come a time in your life when you will be more informed with more knowledge than what you presently have.
@minuteman12 don't tell me what I have to do with my life you don't know me or anything about my studies
@lost_alice you are right. I don't know you, and I don't need to know you in order to suggest you to do something useful with your life. Get out of this , "I'm somebody special", mentality. The universe existed before you and will continue to exist after you. You are privileged enough to be able to come here, which means you have an Internet connection, which means you have a decent life. Any idea how many 16 year olds around the world can do that? Be thankful and humble and listen to your elders. There are people who have seen more life than you.
@minuteman12 doesn't mean you know more than me and man you are 24 don't talk to me like you are superior
@minuteman12 Don't argue about science with feminists, they are susceptible to facts or reason - they feel differently, and they only care about feelings.
@smølf what the fuck?
Look he is superior when it comes to what he knows. At 24 he probably went or has friends who went to college so he knows what he's talking about, he has 8 years advatage not to mention your not even in highschool yet tlyou know absolutly nothing , all kids these days think they know i have many younger friends and while they are not clueless my knowledge exceds anything they know just like my older friends know more stuff than me, thats how life works the more you live the more you learn, with this approach to life you are destined to a tough, annoying and not so fun life. Listen to what older people have to say, they have a good reason to say it.
@IceCubedude I have friends that went to college, you know I have more 1 year and half left of high school right? and I prefer to listen to people that aren't damaged on the brain
Listen to whoever you feel like listening to but that won't change anything, as for your friends judging from the way you talk i suggest you start hanging out with new people.
@IceCubedude the people I hang out are amazing I don't need new friends
I wish you the best in life. When you will be 24, you will definitely have more knowledge and your opinions will be more informed and educated than some another 16 year old. I don't claim to be superior or anything, I have so much to learn myself yet, but I'm always ready to listen to what my elders have to say and respect their opinion without being arrogant. Just to give you some insight, I am associated with an organization that strives to help poor people around the world. I have been to places around the world and seen people in such worst conditions that made to realize and appreciate my life. I have a different perspective about life now than what I had 8 years before. Anyway I'm sure you are a wonderful person and I hope you will do justice with your intellect. Good luck! And I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway!
Agreed lol
Thank you.
Well Aphids exist not saying there are giant human Aphids hanging on to trees mind you.
That would just be crazy wouldn't it?
I agree. I'm a girl, I do boy things sometimes, I like violent video games and shows, I play sports, and I have more guy friends I relate too. I still wear girl clothes and identify as a female. I would never undergo procedures to become a "real" boy. Cause by me doing so, I'm agreeing to the social constructs. I like boy things, I should have a penis. I'm just a girl. I don't feel like I was assigned the "wrong" sex. There's no certain traits that goes with a certain sex. We all are different and have different personalities. Why can't we just accept that instead of having to undergo surgeries and hardship?
Just because you feel like that doesn't mean other people do
@FallOutBoy2001 did I say everyone agrees with my statement? Did I say "everyone should do this or that"? Nope I did not. I simply stated my opinion and asked a question. Read my opinion again, you'll notice it says "I" a lot.
People should be allowed to label themselves whatever the hell they want. Why would you care about it enough to write this?
Because he is arguing against the label as something other are expected to follow. Someone may "feel" being something else, like Jesus, Napoleon or the opposite sex, sure they are welcome to believe it, but the sane part of the population will however not believe it and they have to face that reality at least and stop trying to persuade the sane part of the population to play along with there fantasy.
@smølf it doesn't matter
Okay, look, I'm no SJW but you, sir, are a bit of a bigot. What about those perfectly functional people who are born in between, hmm? They get unnecessarily mutilated by doctors when they're born or given hormones or something in order to MAKE them a gender that they're biologically not – against their will! Do you think THAT'S okay? I don't really believe in the whole seventy-six-genders thing but if you think there are only two, no matter what, then you, sir, are a bit of a bigot.
I just realised I repeated myself; whoopsy doopsy.
No he is sane, a bigot is defined as a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions, not being intolerant towards those making factually wrong claims. He is not a bigot based on what is said here for sure.
@smølf Did you read the rest of what I said? There are people who are neither gender BIOLOGICALLY and BORN THAT WAY.
I'm not a bigot that's literally a biological fact. You can't just render science and biology null. That is a fact. There are only two genders. End of story lol
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersex
There are only two genders. That's a biological reality. These people have a genetic mutation. THey make up a VERY small amount of the population. chit happens for them. I pity them, but that doesn't mean they are a different gender. It just means their mutation prevents them from being part of the two-gender system. And no amount of rhetoric will change that. Biologically we are meant to be men and women. Simple as that. And these people aren't meant to be part of that biology, but only happen as rare incidents of something going wrong as a fetus aka a mutation. It's like saying "don't say people have 10 fingers, there are people who have 12 fingers and you discriminate against them". Thats bullchit. People have 10 fingers. And those who have additional fingers just happen to have them because something went wrong when they grew up as a fetus.
Yeah, well, I'm no expert on the whole gender thing but I see no need to be mean or disrespectful about it. If a person feels a certain way and I don't understand it, who am I to tell them off for it?
It's not being mean or disrespectful lol... it's a discussion.
I'm not talking about you, I'm just talking about, like, in real life; I'm not going to say stuff like "you can't be that" to people who feel a certain way.
Well i'm not telling any one what they can or can't be I'm just merely stating the fact that there are two genders which is a fact. I think that people are entitled to their own decision but it's just asinine to nullify factual science and biology. There is only male/female. It's that simple.
That doesn't make me a bigot.
Okay.
The American Psychological Association (https://www. apa. org/topics/lgbt/intersex. aspx) discusses what it means to be intersex, and offers some examples of intersex conditions, including:
~Vaginal agenesis, in which female infants are born without a vagina
~Penile agenesis, in which male infants are born without a penis
~Partial androgen insensitivity, in which cells do not respond normally to testosterone and related hormones, causing incomplete masculinization of the genitals in male infants
~Klinefelter and Turner syndromes, which I also listed above
~There are more you can read about if you wish to actually study science instead of making sweeping generalizations about a group of people you actually know nothing about.
^Everything I discussed above has nothing to do with transgender people. These are all NATURALLY occurring conditions. So yes, there is more than 2 genders. To say there isn't is an insult to anyone born with these conditions.
Thank you, have a good day :)
As you have said yourself, these chromosome divinations are syndromes NOT genders... I repeat NOT GENDERS.
Cancer is also naturally occuring. Doesn't make it the standard though. The examples you give are mutations that cause the people suffering from it often health issues.
I am saying they are sick. Simple as that. They are a biological and genetical abnormality. Yes, they might be neither male or female or both depending on your point of view. But thats a ridiculously small percentage of people and has nothing to do with those who are completely biologically male or female but say they are "born in the wrong body".
I will go out on a limp and say that when most people say there are only two gender they are refering to the increased amount of people who identify themselves as transgender while they are biologically clearly one or the other. I doubt anyone would drastically discriminate against a known case of biological mutagation.
All of that babble you said is true but just because there is diversity doesn't mean that there are more than two genders lol. Male/Female... literally nothing else you can say. Intersex is irrelevant because it makes up such a small percentage of the population and is a birth defect.. and those aren't the people that I'm referring to. You can't win against SJW's lol
But there are only two genders. Thats a biological reality. These people have a genetical mutation. Shit happens for them. I pity them, but that doesn't mean they are a different gender. Its like saying "dont say people have 10 fingers, there are people who have 12 fingers and you discriminate against them". Thats bullshit. People have 10 fingers. And those who have additional fingers just happen to have them because something went wrong when they grew up as a fetus.
I'm not ignoring disabilities. I understand that is an issue but there is still only male/female lol. Literally that's all there is to it. You can't just negate that because of your feelings.
That's a birth defect. There is no reason to classify less than 1% of the population into a third gender. There is male/female this is a fact lol. There are no unicorn genders.
No matter what you throw at me logic wins.
@Take Owner But it's not less than 1% of the population. You cannot throw false facts at me and pretend you are being logical.
Lol. Male/Female sorry. Nothing else you say changes that.
@FakeName123 Having red hair is ALSO a genetic mutation. So by your logic, having red hair is not a biological normality? So there are actually only 3 hair colors in the world, brown black and blonde? People who have red hair are only a small percentage of people on Earth too, just like those born intersex.

With abnormal number of sex chromosomes gender may be undefinable, but it's not intersex or a separate gender - it a syndrome, a genetic anomaly. There are only two genders on earth, the rest is something else.
@smølf "There are only two genders on earth, the rest is something else." And what is that "something else"? ... A 3rd option! Whether you want to call it a "gender" or not is a discussion of semantics, but even you are admitting that there is "something else." There are people born as "something else," I'm not sure why that's so hard to comprehend. I was trying to have a scientific discussion about biology, but you seem too immature to actually face the facts and discuss it. As I've said multiple times, you can have whatever opinion you want, but please don't pretend science backs it up.
That's what I have been saying this entire time, that hermaphroditism is naturally occurring. It might technically be a "defect" but having red hair is also technically a genetic mutation.
