Taking a Girl's Virginity: Lessons Learned

Recently, this past summer, I lost my virginity. I was 20 years old, almost 21, and I was ready for the longest of time. I held off longer so I could find another virgin to lose my virginity to. I felt this would be a mutual exchange of our virginities and it would provide me and a girl the opportunities to experience our first times together. Although I am happy I found another virgin to have sex with, I feel I exaggerated the outcomes slightly. Nonetheless, I was satisfied with my first time but learned some crucial lessons.

It won't always result in an emotional attachment or a relationship

This was a major lesson learned for me. You can have sex without love, love without sex, and you can have both at the same time. But that being said, one will not always lead to the other and they are two different concepts. There seems to be the myth that once you take a girl's virginity, she will become emotionally attached to you. That is not true for all cases, and it really depends on the history involved and the connections already established before the sex occurs. But even with a history, having sex when one is not ready can lead to turmoil in any relationship and cause more damage than good.

Make sure she is truly ready, like really.

Submissiveness doesn't necissarily mean a girl is ready for sex. Communication is key. This not only includes verbal communication but also body language. If she seems unsure, uncomfortable, rigid, or hesitant, she is likely not ready. If a girl is not comfortable having sex, penetration can become very difficult and very painful. If you have any indication she is not ready, STOP and do not proceed.

Warm her up with lots and lots of foreplay and stimulation

Gradually work up to it. Start with the least invasive (cuddling and kissing) then slowly work towards the more in depth foreplay (oral and fingering). She will appreciate it. Learn proper techniques for giving oral. The key is to stimulate her clitoris. You will notice she will secrete fluid down there (called "getting wet"). This is a natural lubricant a girl produces to help ease penetration, but this is not a substitute for other means of lubrication.

Foreplay was an area I lacked in, and next time I will not jump into penetration so quickly!

Penetrate her in missionary for the first time (or a position she is most comfortable in)

This is probably one of the least complicated sex positions and the missionary position really exposes everything down there for easy access. Plus, if you want to be romantic about it, you can gaze her in the eyes passionately while doing it. I took a girl's virginity using missionary position the first time and it worked better than I expected.
