The German scientist won the Dyson Award for his ultrasound-based device, a birth control method for men.

Explaining that cells with the potential to turn into cancer were detected in the cervix region due to the use of birth control pills a year ago, Weiss said: “After that, hormone drugs were no longer an option for me. Pointing out that there are only vasectomy and condom methods for men, Wiess stated that COSO is a user-friendly method that does not involve any physical intervention, pain or known side effects.

Won't work. Testicles only _produce_ sperm cells, once made, they're pushed inside where they wait to be expelled during an ejaculation. You can heat your balls all you want and even damage them, the sperm cells for your next load sit already snug inside your body waiting to be released inside a vagina, mouth or tissue, totally unharmed by this tool.

Testicles don’t only produce sperm, they also produce testosterone, which is essential for good health. They’re also quite fragile and are easily damaged.

If you have a low sperm count that’s a side effect of bad health. It could be bad health in general or some kind of hormonal imbalance. Low testosterone is also a sign of bad health, and this can cause other health problems also.

Do you know why your balls hang the way they do, outside of the body? Because they need to be kept cool in order to function properly. If you heat them up you’re damaging them, possibly long-term depending on how often.

The number of people attempting to come up with different forms of contraception for men which anybody with a basic understanding of the male body can see are potentially very damaging, while claiming that they’re perfectly safe, is suspicious. Surely those people must understand this.

I'd rather find an alternative to dipping my plums in an ultrasound bath. I'd also worry if it was fully effective every single time, and if it had any effect on testosterone levels. It's a pass from me, I'd rather have the vasectomy.

I heard somewhere (probably an urban legend) that in Ancient Greece or Rome or one of those places. I heard that guys used to dip their balls in a coconut shell filled with hot water. This was their birth control.
