Testicular size and injury risk?

I know this is a very dumb question, but it came up because of an argument with my boyfriend. How much does the size of the testicles affect the risk of injury on impact? If you hit the big testicles, will they have a better chance of not getting serious damage than if you hit the small testicles? My boyfriend says he has “big balls”, so he doesn't wear a protective cup when he plays baseball, but I tell him he's a big idiot.

  • The damage could be serious irrespective of size, I your boyfriend doesn't wear a cup, there are different sizes, then he should learn to pull his testicles up into the inguinal canals where they originally dropped from and retain them there, this a technique used by martial artists, this needs to be done with care as done incorrectly it could lead to a twisting of the spermatic cords which would cut the blood supply to the testicles, which would result in their removal, which could also happen if he received a blow to the testicles, from say a fast ball, no man has a set of balls able to resist that kind of impact.

  • He should definitely be wearing a protective cup, I don't really know if ball size makes any difference on how easy they are to hurt but I can well imagine that the ones that hang loose and low could get hurt easier then the ones that are held up tight to the body.

  • Not wearing a cup is stupid when it comes to sports. Think of it like a seatbelt. You wear it because you might get in an accident not because you want to. However if he doesn’t want to protect his junk and become sterile that’s his choice. Better to not have offspring if he’s going to be that careless with his own body.

  • The size of his balls do not matter. Guys who participate in any contact sport should wear some protection. Does everything he has work when you two have sex?

  • Size matters... bigger balls are a larger target and hurt just as much when hit. He should always wear an athletic supporter and cup when playing sports.

  • I guess it makes for a bigger target 😆

  • Size doesn't matter, and your boyfriend is an idiot, and has to wear a protective cup

  • Why on earth would larger testicles be more resistant to injury?

I've never suffered a testicular injury, but I *have* been hit in the nuts more times than I can count, and the pain is absolutely debilitating. Size doesn't matter.

  • Size doesn't matter. It will hurt badly regardless of the size

  • No, you just wear a jockstrap or a cup athletic supporter

  • He's a big idiot. Larger = bigger target.

  • Yeah he better wear a cup especially in baseball. Also size of your balls do actually matter because if you have bigger balls it's a easier target and bigger risk of injury but if a guys get hit in the balls in the right place and hard enough he will be down for awhile. I have some big testicles and one girl kick me in the balls and I went down to my knees with tears in my eyes luckily I didn't get injured too bad

  • Makes no difference

  • It hurts like hell no matter of balls size.

  • guy in pink's clothing. 🤣
