I was hanging with my best guy friend one morning and he told me I was acting like a waifu. I made a face and he caught what it meant. According to him though, it's a compliment.
So, why do guys like anime girls? I scoured the net for these answers so much to me!
Guy 1: They have perfect proportions, flawless skin, and big, shiny eyes. But they also act cute and are easy to understand, and (usually) don't have the weird prejudices and inhibitions that put guys off.
Guy 2: For me, it’s honestly the girls' personalities. Loyalty to no end, respect for themselves as well the ones they’re dating. They don't cheat on their partners ever, they know how to forgive for mess ups & then let it go once it’s taken care of without nagging them to death. Mostly they’re always there for the ones they care for no matter how bad things may look & they don't just cut and run or give up on who they love. Also if you’re not the best looking guy or have the most money these types of girl really don't seem to care as long as there with who they love.
Guy 3: It’s because girls today are so fake that anime girls look real in comparison. Why socialize with a real girl that will judge you by your mistakes and put you in the friend zone because you’re not the perfect guy when you can just imagine that the anime girl is real. You see men imagine themselves as the main character that’s why chick flicks don't work ....you see if real girls acted like anime characters life would be great.
Guy 4: They're exaggerations of the ideal female archetypes for men. A youthful female that complements your personality, has neonate features as well as demure and respectful of your masculinity. Men in touch with their sexuality want to be happy with a woman that respects them.
Guy 5: They have tropical hair colors, duh.
Guy 6: It is far easier to make porn from your favorite characters when that character is a cartoon and not a real person.

1 2Guy 1 definitely has it wrong as many anime girls are not anatomically correct. I like anime as much as the next person, but does anyone really buy that women have tiny short torsos only accounting for 10% of their height, legs accounting for 80%, watermelon sized boobs (and bigger), eyes the size of lemons, nonexistent noses, and 10-inch waists? Sorry, no. XD
Really what it comes down to is that your a genuinely nice but can come with some spice but not too much basically in another anime reference. The best mix a girl should shoot for if they have a crush whos into anime is maybe go out and try curry XD. As thats pretty much how anime guy fans like their girls.
Unique spice/aura/ personality with just the right amount of spicyness/sassy/playful. To make it worth wanting to be around the girl.
The end result is you may end up being like their favorite meal/female friend. Just gotta find what works best and then keep it up and still just be yourself. As also the worst thing a girl can do is try to change themselves for a guy as its often just their natural selves that is often the most attractive for guys.
