This myTake isn't weird
Obviously, if I'm doing this myTake, I've got a foot fetish. That means I find female feet attractive and that's all. I know there is a slight stigma attached to fetishes and with the foot fetish being the most common (by all accounts), foot fetishists often seem to be stereotyped as pervy loners. I'll be honest, I'm sure some of us are. But pervy loners are not exclusive to foot fetishists. I have a foot fetish and I am (mostly :P ) a normal guy. I want to get married and raise a family. I want to meet someone I can speak to and connect with. I find many parts of the female body sexy aside from feet. Feet just happen to be one more thing I do find sexy. I don't do anything criminal or weird and would never violate someone's boundaries for my own gratification; something which many guys without foot fetishes can't say.
Plenty of women seem uncomfortable with the subject so I thought I might do a Take explaining the benefits a man's foot fetish could have for his female partner.
NOTE: This all applies to me and the majority of foot fetishists in my experience. Everyone's sexuality is a little different.
1. Foot rubs
Yep, this is the main one. Some women LOVE foot rubs but can't get their partners to do it because they're either too lazy or don't like feet. If your boyfriend has a foot fetish, he will jump through hoops to massage your feet. You can come home, pop off your shoes and most guys with a foot fetish will volunteer to give you a massage for the next hour anyway you like. They'll practice and find ways to make you relax and enjoy your massage so they can do it more often. Your feet basically have their own personal masseuse now.
2. Shoes
At some point most guys will complain that their girlfriend has too many shoes. Guys with a foot fetish however won't complain. Hell, they'll probably offer to pay for half of them. To them (us), the wide variety of women's shoes make women's feet sexier and draw attention to them in the same way that other forms of clothing (e.g. lingerie) do for other parts of the female body. If you go shoe shopping, he will be interested and it's a personal fantasy of mine to go shoe shopping with a girlfriend and she teases me the whole way through. The wide selection of female footwear will catch his interest as much as yours which provides plenty of oppurtunities for fun and you have an excuse for buying more shoes. :P
3. Variety
In long term relationships, sex can get boring and it helps to have options available to freshen things up. A foot fetish means there is one more way to experience sexual pleasure. Obviously, it shouldn't be one sided but if you're looking for another way of turning your man on and he has a foot fetish, you basically have 2 'On' switches to his sex drive on the end of your legs, giving you the chance to bring variety to your sex life and explore new things. Who knows? You might like it.
4. Intimacy
Many men with foot fetishes seem to be secretive with it. Obviously most people don't broadcast the details of their sexuality for the world to hear but even for foot fetishists in relationships, it can be hard to open up about this in case the woman rejects it and believes he is weird. Therefore, if the woman accepts it, it can bring her and her partner much closer. They will have a stonger bond as he will have shared secrets that only she knows of him and have kept it between them. This is guaranteed to make you special in his mind and can lead to a great amount of trust.
5. Pampering!!!
Women generally love to be pampered. Foot fetishes are an oppurtunity for that. Not only will you get foot rubs (see 1.), he will love to get/give you pedicures, foot baths or paint your toe nails for you. He could also buy all this for you as a present and the pedicures could be his present too. ;)
6. Attraction
This means that there is another part of your body that can be attractive to (some) men. Everyone has body parts that they are proud of and some they aren't so proud of. It's natural. I know some women (that I've seen online. I don't really stare at girl's feet irl you'll be glad to hear. ;) ) that look pretty good but have incredibly sexy feet (people disagree on what this means. Some fetishists love toes, some prefer soles. There is a wide variety). That makes them more attractive to me than women who have 'ugly feet' but look great otherwise. It opens up more options as well as meaning there are now more parts of your body that he is attracted to and only you know that. You can tease him in public without anyone else ever knowing by just dangling your foot in his view.
Conclusion
Foot fetishes come in many different forms and, like most forms of human sexuality, they are too unique to just sum up easily. But in my opinion, foot fetishes provide a genuine oppurtunity to bring a couple closer as it offers unique oppurtunities such as those I outlined above. It makes that person unique.
I hope that I will be able to explore my fetish in future with an open minded and mature partner and I will make sure that she reaps the benefits. :)

If you want true love, than you want a man that loves every part of who you are. To begin with it shouldn't even be called a fetish since the whole female body is supposed to be attractive. Your feet also says a lot about you, it shows who you are. So remember nasty feet, nasty kitty. Also a man who loves feet means he will notice the little things about you. My point is that you will want a man that loves every single thing about you and will do anything for you. As for the girls that are disgusted at their own feet and doesn't like people that do, you will have a harder time being in a relationship than others. It's like a missing ingredient to a perfect recipe. So please stop thinking like you're the "normal" one just because you don't get why a man gets turned on by feet, cause he is supposed to if he really loves you.
You know guys, life is too short to be with someone who will think you are a weirdo because you love feet... screw those girls. I mean, we all have some fetishes, many girls for example are so turned on by choking, because of how dangerous and submissive it is, and they are not even afraid to say that, or that they are afraid if they say that to you, you will think they are crazy. Foot fetish is so common among all the other fetishes, thus making it completely normal. So, why to be with a girl that will not fulfill your desires and fetish while there will always be some normal open-minded girls. So do not waste time on those girls that think it is disgusting... just a wrong person for us. Do what makes you happy.

I am dating a guy with a foot fetish and he was super shy and intimidated to tell me. First let me say he is a total bad ass but also one of the sweetest, loving, kind, generous and intelligent guys. The fact that I have not only been open to understanding but willing to explore with him (and not treated him like a freak show) has made him even more loving and overwhelmingly grateful. I have NEVER dated a guy who has in return been willing to do whatever it takes to make me consistently so happy/fulfilled as well. It’s created this unique bond and It’s been pretty amazing. I guess the moral of the story is don’t be so quick to judge and write something off.

Because, to tell you the truth, foot fetish is not an issue, it even looks like fun. The fact that most males I know have a fut fetish also have submissive fantasies and that's what makes them such a turn off to most women.

Good take. This is what I want everyone to know about foot fetishes. I hate the "creepy pervert" stereotype.
In their defence, I think it is partly true. All the girls I know here get messages asking for pictures of their feet. Maybe foot fetishists need to be more 'polite' when it comes to involving other people. It's not like there's any lack of foot fetish porn or tumblrs if you or I want to keep it private.
That is true, a lot of us are kind of creepy about it and I hate that they ruin it for the rest of us, but that doesn't mean other people can assume we are creeps when we first tell them about it. This is what makes me (and most other foot fetishists) hide it from everyone, so I spare myself the ridicule and embarrassment. I feel ashamed of myself for having these urges (similar to how a paedophile would feel, I imagine), just because everyone else labels me a creep. I'm not creepy about it, and I'd rather no one assumed that of me, when they've never spoken to me. I don't need to indulge the fetish, I'd only do that if the partner was willing. Even then, I'd feel too insecure to do it. Y'know what, I think the creepy foot fetishists get off on being called 'creep'. Probably because they were labelled a creep in high school or something. This is why stereotypes don't help. It just makes things worse.
