  • Tinder is a Jewish company, so be aware what you are getting into.

  • Well, I'm attracted to zero percent of the girls who swipe right on me. (Or maybe 1%. I don't know. But probably less than 1%.)

What Girls & Guys Said

  • 10-15% for each gender.

    • For each gender really?

  • That's a hard question. Women, even dead-average women, will only swipe on people they're attracted to; so, I'd say around 90% of women's matches would be those they're actually attracted to (say 10% accidental swipes, or people who just have good photo editing).
For guys, I think we have different reasons to swipe on girls; so, maybe 70% we'll be attracted to, the other 30 being accidents, or swipes just to get a match (so we don't become bitter from going a day without a single match). However, the 70% we are "attracted to" are further broken down into women we'd actually go out with, or those who are attractive enough to bang (probably 30% and 40%, respectively).

  • no idea... never used Tinder or any other app alike

    • Do you think women are overall more picky than men when it comes to selection of sexual/intimate partners?

    • I think that many women would be more selective with their decisions, and this would be seen as a tendency and I think that men do tend to be more promiscuous, so it could be perceived as that for Tinder though... most of what I hear is that this is a very popular app for those that are actively looking for a hook up, so then... I would think the numbers would be quite even on the both sides but who knows, I am just assuming... like I said, I never tried any dating or hook up apps before but I would not use the word "picky" because that's an unnecessarily negative connotation that word in specific carries selective is a more appropriate word, and I am quite selective as well, by the way

    • I know you do not like biology, but I was referring to that. I’m just asking you if, in general, women are more selective than men when it comes to choosing who to have sex with. Also, the motivations for men & women on Tinder are not the same. Yes, it has now been seen by many as a site for those wanting something of a hookup, but for awhile before it was used more as dating site and still is for many. Regardless, many women will write “not looking for a hookup” on their Tinder profile, whereas I’ve known of no men who’ve written this.

  • I would bet the women would find fewer than 2% attractive.
