If you have a legitimate addiction, then you ought to seek out professional help and treatment.
I have a lot to share with you here, so please be patient.
- In any case though, the first thing you need to do is create barriers. Get some kind of block or filter app on your phone and computer. That is only a starting point though. After that, you need to clean up your devices. Clear out all your search history; websites, Google, Bing (but not one uses Bing because no one likes it anyway), anything that you used to search for images and videos. Basically, you need to remove all traces of anything that can lead you back to porn sites. If you have any images or videos saved on your phone or computer, delete them and then empty your trash bin.
- On that same note, spend less time on devices anyway. Go to bed an hour or so earlier, turn off your phone and computer (don't just put them in sleep mode), and leave them in a different room. If your phone is your alarm clock, then buy an alarm clock and use that instead.
- Work on developing a healthier lifestyle in general. Go for long runs or spend some more time at the gym, but do it either later in the evening or earlier in the morning. Take up something that will help you develop more in discipline, endurance, and focus.
- Avoid anything that might be triggering for you. Do an inventory of your movies and TV shows and get rid of the ones that feature sexual content, nudity, or even beach or pool scenes or anything else like that. Get rid of any music you listen to that has sexually suggestive or explicit content. This is also why I recommended going to the gym earlier or later in the day. Also, as much as you can, avoid TV commercials and YouTube videos for women's apparel retailers. If on your way to work or school, you have to pass by said retail store, take a different route.
Those are all the external things you can do. Now let's talk about internal.
- Get an accountability partner. Yes, a therapist could be helpful for you here, but you would also do well to meet regularly with a close friend, someone who knows and cares about you personally and you can share your struggles with, and someone who can give you words of advice and encouragement. I don't know what your religious beliefs are, if you have any, but I am a Catholic and can attest to the power and grace of sacramental Confession.
- Practice self-denial and mortification. Take on some kind of additional discipline. For example, I recommend taking cold showers and doing it on the same day every week, i. e., every Wednesday. This helps you to be mindful of what you are doing, to get you into a better way of mind about it.
- Practice humility. You cannot change the evil that you face, but you can change yourself and how you face it. In a very real way, humility strengthens you because you allow yourself the freedom to grow. You have the freedom to acknowledge and safeguard the vulnerabilities of your heart and mind. You have the freedom to accept responsibility so that you can make the changes.
- Lastly, practice gratitude for every day you go without watching porn. It helps you to acknowledge the steps you've taken and gives you hope for the future. Plus, it's a solid defense against the negativity and anxiety that causes you to seek relief in things like pornography.
Like I said, that's a lot to go through; there's still more I could say. I'm happy to help you further though if you need it.

Realize that when you watch it, you are watching the outcome of people who were groomed at a young age, trafficked, abused, or all of the above. A lot of the time you are watching dead people as well, possibly from suicide.
