too big to do cowgirl position?

So I've been with my man for just over 2 years now. All he wants to do is cowgirl/ reverse cowgirl position. I fear as I may be to over weight to do it? I am comfortable with my man seeing me naked I prefer dark time though. He will get off me and ask me to go on I'll be in the mood but I freeze once I'm on top of him. Not sure if i freeze because 1. I'm overweight 2. I don't know what I'm doing 3. I'm embarrassed incase I'm too heavy on him. At the end of the frozen stage I always get upset and say I can't do it and he'll have to get back on top of me and start up again Any help on how to do it or suggestions on how I won't feel as such a fat cow?

Plant your feet flat on the bed, and ride him going up and down (almost as if you are squatting ).
You will not be putting any of your weight on him if you do that.

Really, it's 3. If you want to feel more comfortable, you could choose to loose weight. Makes your sex life more adventurous as you can try more different things.
