Don't let people take you out of who you are. If that's not something that would usually come out of your mouth regardless of how angry you get, it makes you just as bad as he is.
I understand that you were being teased and harrased but your character and your word are 2 things that you'd want people to have no doubts about..
The simple fact that you are asking if you were right or not tells me that you already know the answer. There will be times were you may have to take action when someone or something goes too far, being called something that you know you aren't or a racial slur... yes it may bother you. Knowing who you are as a person and what you are not is far more satisfying than trying to hurt someone with the same ignorance that was presented to you.0 0 0 0

Understandable, probably not optimal. Don’t worry about it. A more adult approach might not have worked. School is not like real life. You are stuck with people you wouldn’t otherwise associate with and they have little incentive to behave. If this were happening in college or at a job he would be warned to stop harassing you and be expelled or fired if he continued.
0 0 0 0Thinking further, I wonder. Ling-Ling is not equivalent to n*****. Maybe he was harassing you, I don't know. Maybe he was trying to flirt. I think you went too far.

No.
I don't agree with answering a wrong with another wrong.
Especially something as disgusting and pathetic as racism.
It made u lk as horrible of a person as he is.
U should've been a better person and reported his racist ass.
There is no excuse for racism ever.
U allowed a ignorant person to make u an ignorant person as well.1 4 0 0Well put
No he was likely trying to provoke a racist response to use against you. It's a common ploy among those people, they'll keep pushing your buttons to get a racist outburst then play the victim. Next time secretly report it on your phone and report it as racial harrasment.

2 27Well he's an idiot and with this response you're not better than him.. but I get it. Next time just tell him to stop or ignore him. I know it's not that easy.
0 1 0 0He called you a slurr, you called him one back.
0 0 0 0As if you needed that trigger, Asians dislike black guys anyway. :)
https://edition.cnn.com/2015/12/08/asia/star-wars-china-racist-poster/index.html0 0 0 0So can I use a racial slur whenever a non-"Black" person calls me the n-word?
I was called "Hak Gui" by an Asian-American woman once. Should I have just called her a slur in return?0 1 1 0No. Two wrongs don't make a right. You have put yourself down to his level and now you're both pretty much screwed for something he did.
You should have reported him for being racist, sexist and bullying. But now he can level a bigger charge against you of using banned words against him.
Best keep away and let him fester. He probably wants to get off on seeing an "angry Asian chick".0 1 0 0Tf is Ling Ling?
Either way, you are wrong, too. Teachers are there for a reason. If your teacher is one of those useless ones, go to the office and report... lol0 0 0 0Well I'm Asian too so I don't appreciate what he did but calling a slur back is kind of a dirty thing to do. I would have just talked to school authorities or something.
0 0 0 0Some times the people who are truly racists need to be called out by those who are the objects of their racism. And yes. Black are probably the biggest racists now a days. They are because society allows them to be.
I think for me I just don’t like the word n- it feels dirty to me. I would have rather just said “f off” or something more generically insulting. But that’s just me.
Asian people don't have any buisnis whit black people slavery.
That more for West European and American people.
Because for nation who are not guildy for theyr past is just an insult and nothing more, comparing to americans and English wher from them is like you bring back the past. It will be like a german will sudently say "Hei H****r!".
For the other country is same like a "fuck you"0 1 0 0Sensible
@Tstrbrainer The subject, yes is very sensible. :|
I mean as long as it's clear why you're calling him that ^^
0 0 0 0i like it, respect 😂
0 1 0 0Yeah you were justified.
Blacks seem to think it is okay for for them to racist but get pissed off when some one calls their racism out.
So yeah. That person deserved to be called n**. Probably shocked the hell out of him.0 1 0 0nope
0 0 0 0Good for you!
0 0 0 0well sometimes its hard not to stoop to there level but there are more appropriate ways to deal with what appears to be immature behavior on his part it might have been better to gather a following of others and then confront faculty for a little confrontation assembly to confront this because I think if the few that talk to others this way are called up to the front of every one and put on the spot I do believe the embarrassment will change there behavior hopefully for life
0 0 0 0Quite understandable 😂😂😂😂.
What was his reaction?0 0 0 0Absolutely justified.
0 0 0 0Way to go girl
0 0 0 1Wrong they do not put out fire with fire. The world is now crazy than ever.
0 0 0 0what goes around comes around.. he was being racist... showing him what it felt like should have made him think about what he was doing
0 0 0 0If you give it got to learn to take it... having said that, could you have used other options to get back at him before lowering yourself to his level of maturity, ... just got to think smarter... video it then post it... can't take that shit back once it's out there
