DJ Khaled has come under fire his remarks that he does not perform oral sex on his wife but it is 'not okay' if she did the same

Celebrities have blasted DJ Khaled after the music mogul said that he could 'never' perform oral sex but it's 'not okay' if his wife did the same.

The 42-year-old record producer has come under fire for his remarks about the relationship he has with his wife of 11 years Nicole Tuck, after a radio interview from 2015 resurfaced where he claimed that 'the woman should praise the man, the king.'

Stars including Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and actress Evan Rachel Wood took to Twitter to respond to his comments, with Wood saying Khaled 'should grow up'.

Meanwhile other fans are have called the comments misogynistic.
Were DJ Khaled's comments misogynistic?

"If you holding it down for your woman I feel like the woman should praise. And a man should praise the queen. But you know, my way of praising is called, ha-ha, ‘How was dinner?’, ‘You like the house you living in? You like all them clothes you getting? I’m taking care of your family, I’m taking care of my family…’ You know, I’m putting in the work.”

When asked by the show's female host if his remarks meant he didn't perform oral sex, DJ Khaled said: 'Nah, never. No, I can't do that. I don't do that.'

The host then asked if his wife could refuse to do the same, but he was quick to respond: 'No that's not OK, because you have to understand I am the don, I am the King... I am the King of the house.

'It's different rules for men. We the King. There's some things that y'all don't want to do but got to get done.'

He then added: 'I just can't do what you want me to do. I just can't.'

  • Yes it's misogynistic. He literally explains how he's entitled to get his dick sucked because he's "the king" and doesn't think his wife deserves the same. If he had just said "I don't like going down on women", well, that would have been that. End of story. Just a preference. But him going on a rant about how women should praise their "king" and how there are "different rules for men", as in women have to go down on their man but men don't have to go down on their woman, well, that's misogynistic.
If a woman went around and said the same thing, about how she's the queen and her man should serve her, and how she doesn't have to go down on him but he has to go down on her, I'm pretty sure most men on here would furiously write about how she's a selfish man-hater.

    • Lol plenty of women do refuse to give their husband's oral sex.

    • @Catholicgirl22 ok? Like I said it’s perfectly fine to have a preference but the way he talked about how he’s basically entitled to it, as if she’s just his servant, was just very offputting.

    • I'm sure she gets up every morning makes his breakfast, tidies the home, does his laundry, cooks his meals etc or more likely they have paid servants to do all that lol

  • Misogynistic or abusive? No. Probably gigantically stupid? Yes. However, just because something is stupid doesn't mean it's illegal. Sometimes stupid is just that... stupid.

    • Holding the financial stability you willingly provide for someone over their head and expecting or feeling entitled to them doing certain things for you in return, actually is quite an abusive/toxic mindset to have in a relationship. Yes, relationships are give and take, but you don't own your partner just because you've decided to provide for them. The way he talked about her, as if she's his servant because he buys her clothes, was totally gross. It def has abusive undertones.

    • @lumos No matter how you look at it or feel about it, "undertones" may be warning signs, but don't cross the line to illegal.

    • Who said anything about illegality?

  • TBH, sounds more like he just admitted that he can't give her oral simply because he sucks at it. Sounds more like he's publicly airing his sexual performance issues than that he's saying it's beneath him.

  • It's simple
He's a moron and she's stupid for staying with this moron

  • I guess it kinda is. Him not enjoying giving oral sex is fine, not a big deal. Him believing he shouldn't have to whereas she should apparently only because she's a woman is misogynistic. Overall, who really gives a fuck about what he says anyway?

  • That’s up for his wife to decide, not us

  • It full name is Khaled Mohamed Khaled, didn't it? so how can he not be sexist? also him trying to cover up his sexism, in a typical islamic fashion, makes it worse. But that said, many men don't like doing submissive acts, I am not interested in giving oral as well, but unlike Mohamed, I am fair enough to not demand it from a woman.

  • "Misogyny is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against women or girls. Misogyny can be manifested in numerous ways, including social exclusion, sex discrimination, hostility, androcentrism, patriarchy, male privilege, belittling of women, violence against women, and sexual objectification."
I don't think his comments were espicially misogynistic, basically he refuses to perform a oral sex on his wife but is more than willing to receive. He's been with his wife for years and have a kid together, she's a successful buisness woman and manager I'm sure if she was unhappy she would have left by now, like most wives she's probably willing to let him think and feel like he is the king of the castle while it's the queen who rules. As for celebrities getting on the SJW warpath well SJW politics are so backstabbing that by next week another group of SJW's will be attacking those condemning DJ Khaled for mysogny will be condemned as racist islamphobes.
My problem if I was his wife would be that he's speaking about our sex life on the radio.

  • Yeah

  • Good for him!!! DJ Khalid.. we the best music... another one!! 😂

  • This is what happens when we let stupid people with no real skill have this level of fame.

  • What a pig. Overrated too.

  • Stupid AF

  • He's so stupid.

  • He should grow up? Everyone should grow up in my opinion.

  • #Notsurprised

  • Is anyone really surprised? Have you heard his music? He's an airhead and a megalomaniac.

  • No they’re stupid

  • DEEJAY KALED

In all actuality he would've been just fine if he had just said "I don't like doing that" instead of saying what he said, implying that it's the woman's duty to do that.

But I've never seen quality from that dude-- just artists with him screaming his name in the background
