It’s just I think my Boyfriend of 3 years cheated me with one. We have been long distance for the last 2 years due to pandemic. Distance and time made his feelings cold eventually. He broke up with me 4 months ago and moved to another city, even though he learned that I was finally going back. I just wonder how another woman is better than me, a woman who’s been loyal to him for 2 years of long distance, who really loved and cared for him and the one he wanted to marry.

He was the one I believed I’d spend my life with. He was my first, I was his first. But in the end he got so distant and cold, he told me he feels nothing for me anymore and that he wants to take care of his career and date other people as well. He said he believes we are no match of each other anymore and asked me not to call him baby anymore, which I’ve been calling him for the last 3 years of my life. I just wonder why in the world he wouldn’t be interested to meet me even once… My only guess is probably he started dating someone else. And I wonder why would he think someone else is better than me. He always thought I was a wife material, after break up, he asked me if we could get married after I go back and then changed his mind 10 days later and turned even colder and even more sure in his decision of break up.

I think he did find another girls closer to him. Long distances relationship are very hard to maintain properly enough in the long run. Long distances are preventing actual physical contact to happen and that why they are much more difficult to maintain. Ofcourse its never ok for him to just leave you behind when you have been together for so long. But I assume that he found a girls who is closer to him and can give him hugs and can see in person more often. Seeing eachother enough is critical for any relationship! But long distances ruins that part and thats why its difficult to maintain a long distance relationship. Anyways you deserve more then a loser like him. The fact that he leaves you just like that tells me he is not worth it to pursuit. I understand its very painfull but you deserve a better guy then this one because he ain't gonna be loyal in the long run anyways. Better to find out now then to find out being together with him for another 10 years

Thank you for your encouragement. I know but it hurts… It hurts because I’ve been waiting for him and been loyal to him. Instead he slowly gave up and decided to forget me. And now that I am finally back to his country, he moved away to another city, I am heartbroken there isn’t even tiny bit of curiosity how it will be to meet me after so long.

Just be strong and start dating other people because even if he would come back to you in the future... chances are high that he will do it again to you in the end.
