What are some things or behaviors you don't understand about your own gender?

I don't understand about other guys:

- Dick pics, especially from "small" guys.
- Guys out in public, not near a beach or pool, without a shirt on (it's the doucheiest bullsh*t ever).
- Lesbian fetishes / dating and marrying lesbians.
- Drinking certain beers that are trash (like PBR or Bud Light).
- Vaping while claiming to be heterosexual/masculine.
- Using emojis more than once a day as a grown adult.
- No Nut November.

  • Well, the ones I can explain is the shirt thing as well as no nut November.

    Maybe some other people's motives are different... but doing stuff with your shirt off is a good way to passively get a tan as well as get some vitamin d. I'm sure some guys do it to swagger or something...

    And refraining from masturbation can make you feel good. I know I feel drained and unmotivated after a good wank, and I don't have enough self-control to last for more than a day but I'd imagine you'd feel pretty energized, not to mention how it must feel to finally break that streak. Oh, and supposedly porn is super bad for your brain.

    I could probably make a list too, but I'd just like to highlight my biggest one. Sports. I cannot imagine why the hell anyone could ever be entertained by sports. Playing them? Sure, sports are challenging and a good way of exercising. But spectating? So goddamn boring. They're repetitive, the rules don't really change and the only variable are the players, or maybe if someone gets injured or something. Not to mention having to deal with the fucking breaks, commercials, and other bullshittery. A football game is like 4 hours long but with only 30 minutes of actual action.

    Not only is it more boring than garbage Tv, but it's so heavily commercialized. The players are dipshits who get paid millions. And your tax dollars go to help build their stadiums.

    Finally, "professional athlete" is synonymous with "shit-eating, scum-of-the-earth, cock-sucking, sacks-of-rotten-smegma." Half of professional athleticism is just figuring out how to get away with doping and other methods of cheating. Professional cyclists will smuggle clean piss in condoms up their ass or hide motors in their bikes. We all have seen the pathetic acts soccer players will do to fake an injury. The average amount of days the NFL goes without an arrest is 7. Privileged assholes involve themselves in politics to tell us how shitty the world is from their jacuzzis.

I don't have a problem with not masturbating. I only do it twice a week, myself. I just don't know why you need a dedicated month for it. Same with the silly Mustache month thing ("Mo'vember?"), or New Years resolutions in general. I find it silly and dumb, but don't really have an issue with the themed months like some of the other things mentioned. I agree with you on sports. I don't like watching sports either, but enjoy playing them. But I understand why people watch sports; it's like family bonding time or something and their dads probably got them into it. Like a family tradition or something. Only thing I'd disagree with you on are athletes. Most of them are pretty dumb, so it's nice they have something in society that makes them useful. But I'd call Hollywood celebrities the "sacks-of-rotten-smegma" before athletes. Especially since half of them are peddling kids out there in Hollyweird.

    • Mhhm. Like... I would only ever do stuff with my shirt off in my own yard or if I'm on a run or something, not at a gathering of any sorts. And true, I thought you were just referring to "no fap" in general. Playing sports is great, and I guess watching could be an excuse to get people together... but at the end of the day I don't know how an adult man can be entertained by watching a 3 hour football game. Or soccer, or baseball, or hockey, or golf, or 99% of other sports. It's just not mentally stimulating. Wooow, the ball went flying and into the hole/basket/goal... spectacular. And I say professional athletes are scumbags because they get paid a shitton, and the industry is so lame and corrupt. Not to mention the question, does being a professional athlete really have to do with skill or moreso having good genetics and the right opportunities?

  • Putting women on pedestals. Seriously, they shit and bleed just like you, why are you acting as if they can do no wrong, especially since 90% of the time they are wronging you and using you and every one can see it so why can't you? I guess this is also part of the white knight phenomenon. Women are not evil, but they are not pure innocent angels, they are human beings which means they are as corrupt and manipulative, violent, and generally shitty as men are, why pretend they are not, its just going to fuck you over in the long run.

    Also being obsessed with sex to the point were they will fuck anything that moves. Seriously, keep it in your pants man. I like sex too, but if you have no self control then your not a man, your a fucking child. Stop indulging shitty women and have some self respect jesus christ.

    Or the overly macho I need to get in your face to prove how manly I am guys. Seriously, if you need to get in my face and try to intimidate me (which never works), your saying you see me as a threat. You haven't fucking showed how manly you are, you showed how manly and alpha I am by proving to every one that your afraid of me. I've actually had this happen, guy kept threatening me and trying to get me to fight him and I told him no, he wasn't worth going to prison over and he threw a temper tantrum like a fucking child. Then told me he would see me outside of work. I looked for him, couldn't find him. Must have gotten lost.

    So yeah, their is a difference between being a man and being a bitch. If you can't control your own dick, your a bitch. If you cannot control your own emotions, your a bitch. If you need to start shit with other people to validate yourself, your a bitch. I see this all the time with men and I don't understand why.

    Before I make mine, I would like to just ask and answer some of yours :)

    Does Vaping while NOT claiming to be masculine or heterosexual make sense? Because I vaped for a little while and due to recent events I have been conflicted whether to start again. As for why, I did it more because it smells much nicer and I promised my family I would never smoke, which I wasn't doing. I don't consider it a masculine thing for one second, there is nothing masculine about smoking or vaping.

    Emojis, when I don't get to see people face to face, it is easy for people to misread words and not fully know how you feel, so using emojis allows you to let them know if you were happy in a certain message or not.

    If I simply replied to someone who was asking if I was alright with "Yeah, you?" they would think I was trying to avoid the subject and also not be sure if I was in a good mood, whereas if I go "Yeah :) you?" they know I am good.

    I THINK no nut November was made as some kind of fasting thing for guys, like to try and clear their minds of sexual stuff by not doing it so frequently, but the issue being, is that it is proven you get sexual frustration by not doing it regularly, so it became more like a challenge. Pretty counter productive...

    It is a rare thing to have someone actually call me my name unless it is with my girl friends, they call me by name, but with guys, it is always nicknames and very rarely your actual name.

    Although I ONLY take my shirt off when I'm in my best shape. If I'm holding onto a bit of water weight in my stomach area, I go sleeveless while jogging instead.
