What are thoughts about pedophiles or as a pedophile?

Pedophiles, can they control what they're attracted to? Wikipedia says:

"Pedophilia (alternatively spelt paedophilia) is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children. Although girls typically begin the process of puberty at age 10 or 11, and boys at age 11 or 12, criteria for pedophilia extend the cut-off point for prepubescence to age 13. Some think that pedophilia is a preference, like how you learn to like different foods, they say it can be cured.

Others think it's an orientation that can't be changed, that it's caused by physical brain differences or caused by damage.

People looking at media of children being abused don't always have the pedophile orientation, they start with adult content but go down the rabbit hole of more extreme and risky behaviour.

Or sometimes people who have abused a child aren't necessarily pedophile.

Some anecdotes of people cured of pedophilia with therapy, but other therapy is about controlling and not acting on urges.

It must be horrible to live a way where you can't be attracted to your orientation. Could everyone control their actions if their orientation were illegal and society would mostly disown you afterwards.

There's "hebephilia" for primary interest in ages around 11-14, and "ephebophilia" for around 15-19.

These people seem to be murdered in prisons a lot, and treated by society not very well since they don't come out as pedophiles.

Open your Bible and point to a verse where it list a proper age to procreate. You won't because you won't find it, it's not there. At one time there was no age of consent and when the age of consent first came about in the US, one state had the age of consent at age 7. If you really believe the age of consent was there to protect children, explain why abortion is not only allowed, but being pushed and pushed on girls at ages of 4 years old. Explain why the state of Texas, for sure, allows children as young as 2 years old to have sex changes. Explain why homosexuality and even bestiality is being taught to children as young as 4 years old along with homosexuality and abortion. The age of consent was put in place for several reasons, one was to genocide of the population. How did that work? It allowed girls a window of time to get introduced to feminism and set their minds on things like careers in place of starting families. Girls naturally attract to older most attracting to 5 years older than they are at a minimum. Notice how the age of consent was set at 2 to 3 years? That was no accident. That so that by the time girls reach the legal age they've already been introduced to feminism. There is no age of consent in the Bible and despite the stigma put on men, most men would known when there was enough sexual maturity to get involved with someone of the opposite sex. Again, the age of consent as put there by man, not God. Do your homework and you will see for yourself. The age of consent was enacted by the same group that's pushing genocide IE agenda 2030.

Pedophilia and child molesters are two different things, often pedophiles and child molesters are one and the same person but not always.

Pedophilia is similiar to being gay, they just don't feel sexually attracted to grown ups, and there is nothing you can do about that (as far as i and probably science knows).

Many pedophiles seek help and therapy on their own, some prefer to be castrated or chemaly castrated.

They also avoid jobs or babysitting where they may be left alone with children to not hurt them.

It is a really complicated topic.

If they can maintain control and not act on their desires, I don't think they should be shamed, so they can seek the professional help they need without fear.

If they actually do offend, that's a different story. The wrath of the people will be upon them… and rightfully so.

It reminds me of when homosexual people experienced the wrath, they had to hide as well since society hated them but it seems impossible to always control your orientation. But maybe it's not orientation, maybe it's a disorder, they said that about homosexual as well I guess.

I think that it's unfortunate that they are attracted to what they are, but that they retain control over their actions as we all do. If they act on their impulses it's a choice that they've made and they deserve to be punished for it. There is no excuse. It doesn't matter what you are attracted to or what you feel compelled to do. It only matters what you do.

I don't know if it's true we all control all our actions, if someone is suitable for mating with a man or woman for example, then would we be able to never do anything with the one we are attracted to. I think it's unlikely if everyone had to suppress themselves that they could do it.

It means, I think paedophiles by molesting children are projecting whatever adult social interaction problems they have onto kids. This is wrong; if I as an adult man can't interact well with an adult woman, that's my personal problem (not the kids') and should stay that way.

Ok, I think I get it, that the pedophile is someone who can't interact with the adult man or woman. The pedophile wouldn't be going for children if they were able to interact with the adults in that way, not that they're able to get with adults but still go for the kids.

When you molest a child, you involve that child in the adult situation of sex with you. You are projecting your adult problem onto the child, and you are making your adult issue an issue for the child. This is essentially what is wrong with paedophilia.
