No! There are far better gifts that will make me happy for Christmas than lingerie. If anything, I'll assume he got that for himself more than me.

Nothing against lingerie, and assuming it was a very close partner, I'd wear it eventually. But since I'm not a huge fan of lingerie, I wouldn't exactly want that as a gift from anyone, regardless of the occasion.

It's awesome to be funny and playful, but she needs to know that you also care about her. Just buy her a nice jacket or sweater, but save the receipt, because it's going to be returned the next day. lol

One Christmas I was so excited to unwrap my presents from under the tree. This was the first present I unwrapped.


He insisted that I wasn't allowed to unwrap another present, until I took it for a test drive.

I give my wife lingerie or other sex-related items all the time for Christmas or birthdays. It's important to realize, though, that these are usually gifts for me that I want her to use. Just make sure you include a plethora of non-sexual gifts for her as well.

You risk it ending up being a gift for you more then her.
And if that's the case she'll probably not appreciate that.
And sure, if *she* has been dreaming of something and talking about something but hasn't afford herself that then yes, go right ahead.
But if it's *you* loving the idea of her in that underwear...
Just buy her something else, or possibly do the underwear as a secondary gift along with something she genuinely will enjoy.

I'm OK with it. I feel lingerie is more a gift for him than me so I buy it for myself, I might ask him what he thinks or what he likes. My guy always buy the wrong sizes.
