What are your thoughts on circumcision?

I'm a fan but I might be biased because my boyfriend is circumcised. In my opinion if the foreskin isn't pulled back it looks weird and my boyfriend has that pulled back look permanently. It's also much cleaner in my opinion. Thoughts?

  • You have my thumbs up. I am circumcised and would not have it any other way. European men have a biased view of circumcision and they call it Genital mutilation, which anyone who is circumcised knows that is just a stupid evaluation, and most of the comments sent in by uncircumcised men are just bullshit based on no medical facts at all and it really pisses me off tho hear that kind of self-styled medical evaluation.

I will say this, and hope to not be too graphic. As a circumcised male, and happy with that, I was very ill several years ago and it caused a great deal of 'swelling' all over my extremities i. e. feet legs, and yes, penis and scrotum.

Afterward, I noticed a lot more 'foreskin' on my penis, not unlike an uncircumcised man. I am a scuba diver, and coming in from diving, if I got knocked down in the surf line, I found a lot of sand under that foreskin and this was very upsetting and uncomfortable.

That said, I can say unequivocally, I would NEVER want to be uncircumcised, and with that extra foreskin that I described, a woman lover ASKED if I was circumcised, and said that I was but she could probably not tell from the appearance of my penis.

My stepson is not circumcised, due to his ignorant father and he was the butt of ignorant comments in the locker room and now refused to shower with other high school boys.

READ UP ON THE INCIDENCES OF CERVICAL CANCER IN WOMEN MARRIED TO UNCIRCUMCISED MEN.

The men on GAG that give you all of the unfounded bullshit about circumcision are just full of shit, and I am one male to tell you differently based on my personal experience and the experience of others. I will gladly give you more information if you require it.

    • Circumcision is genital mutilation. And, yes I am circumcised.

    • That's a bunch of conspiracy bullshit invented by Jews to promote the practice and has no basis in science. Like saying foreskinless men are less likely to get AIDS😂

    • How is removing a body part of a baby not mutilation?

  • Its a cosmetic procedure that is pointless, but has no negative lasting impact on sensativity or orgasms, the claims that it reduces either are a myth, in penises, the top becomes less sensative directly, but because its keratinized and lacks a hood to get pulled, you can also be rougher with it, achieving the exact same sensations.

It is done entirely for looks, and while most women prefer circumsized men because it shows off the head more, most men prefer uncircumsized women because "cameltoe"/labia majora looks more attractive than the lips/labia minora.

This is the most brutally honest answer you are going to get.

    • It's not only for looks since my boyfriend has his dick circumcised because his skin grew closed and he couldn't pee anymore

    • Wait what? Thats not normal, I've never heard of that happening. It also sounds unlikely, if he can't pee he'd be dead from ammonia and urea toxicity alone.

    • Oh wait, are you saying it happened and then after he had to get circumsized to fix it? At first I thought you were saying the circumcision caused that problem.

  • It's an archaic practice. Shouldn't be done unless absolutely medically necessary which is incredibly rare.

It's not cleaner, you can be taught how to clean your genitals. The only benefit it has is a circumcised penis is less likely to get an std. But that can also be 100% prevented by using protection.

    • If anything circumcised men are actually more likely to get STDs than their intact (uncircumcised) counter parts. Circumcised men in Puerto Rico had a higher rate of STDs:
      https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22897699/

    • @huntersawyer22 I remember there being a study saying the opposite but at the end of the day std prevention comes down to education and self responsibility not whether you have a foreskin or not

    • At the end of the day there is no reason to mutilate a child. The best way to prevent STDs is to clean yourself, don't sleep around, and wear condoms.

  • I'm for it if I have sons I will cut it off because it is gross.. it just looks better and my husband has religious reasons..

    • Imagine saying that a natural part of the male body is gross. That is honestly a very misandristic thing to say.

    • @huntersawyer22 Oh well it is what it is.. not like you can't say you don't think female stuff is gross too..

    • @anemone978 But nobody is cutting off parts of your body in the name "hygiene" or "looks." And it's been proven that infant circumcision causes trauma and destroys the bond between mother and son.

  • I think it’s a barbaric act. You can also wash the thing every day. Works for me.

Maybe as a side note for the women who find it cleaner, you know they don’t sell panty liners for men?

    • My boyfriend had to do it medically as a 9 year old.

  • Wow, this is the new "most asked question" all of a sudden. Wonder how many more times this question will be entertained this year? We still got a bit over 3 months in the year left. Get your circumcision questions in now.

    • Oh 😅 didn't look up if it has been asked before

    • new users should be allowed to answer the same question.

    • @strateguy632 An xper 5 is not exactly new.

  • I definitely prefer circumcised ones! It looks better physically, easier to work with, and much cleaner. Bad experience with uncircumcised ones before, they can get quote smelly/ unhygienic.

  • I've had both in my mouth and inside my vagina and didn't feel any difference. Obviously with the uncircumcised like a female with extended inner lips you have a bit more skin to possibly play with which shouldn't be any big deal.

  • i'm circumcised and fine with it. i have no issues with sensitivity. i like the way it looks.

that said i couldn't tell someone how they should be. my son is not circumcised

  • It’s unnecessary.

Im good either way. If it’s been cut…it’s not the choice of his. unless it was done as an adult, then I would like to know why.

  • I recall it hurting, I didn't like it. I can only imagine how this "jacks up "the priests minds, no wonder they go nuts.

beyond that, I don't think about it...

  • Personally, I like that my husband is natural. There's nothing unclean about his penis. We chose not to mutilate our son.

  • It is terrible. Dicks should never be mutilated. They are meant to have a foreskin since it serves purposes. Without a man is missing 17 functions... definitely feel bad for the men that don't know any different and got it cut off as a baby. Something that I will never ever do to my son's.

  • I don't care either way, as long as he keeps himself clean.

    • I agree!

  • I hate it. I love a good forskin

    • Why?

    • Prefer the feel of it inside me and in my mouth. It's kinda sexy pully back a forskin too. Circumcised just looks like there is something missing

  • Am not circumcised. My foreskin has lots of nerves in it and feels sexual pleasure. When penis is flaccid the foreskin protects the sensitive glans and keeps it moist and supple.

I regularly wash under the foreskin when I have a shower so it is nice and clean and have never had any complaints about it.

  • Well dear have fun with that powder keg of a question 🤣

  • Personally I consider it to be one of the most barbaric acts ever... And there is absolutely no way on the planet that we will be inflicting this on our son.

What he chooses to do later in life will be wholly and solely his choice.

    • 100%

    • As a guy I do not remember anything about being cut. It does keep a guy cleaner, doesn’t smell as bad. Being in medical guys get some funky stuff going on down there if they aren’t cut. Some ladies make their mates wash their uncut junk before sex

    • @LunarEclipse433 just cos u don’t remember it now it doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt, yeah some people get funky stuff going on down there. Some guys have BO too but that is down to poor hygiene. If u don’t wash any part of ur body it will get funky

  • Circumcision is just weird man. Any area of your body is not clean if you don't look after it and bathe.

The same applies to women. They have a lot going on down there and if they don't wash and keep good habits then it's not so pleasant. You wouldn't chop bits off to deal with that.

  • Uncircumcised dicks are SO ugly!!!

    • totally agree

    • It's surprising to see a nudist have such a negative opinion on normal human anatomy.

    • @Nifrayu most nudists in the US are circumcised

  • if he chose as adult. if... but consider the child victim.

  • I don’t really have a preference

  • Uncircumcised male here and I haven’t had a problem with it anytime and neither the women who were with me. Also when am erect my foreskin automatically pulls back leaving only the uncovered head like the circumcised one. Also I ensure to maintain proper hygiene, daily wash the region underneath the skin to keep it always clean.

    • exactly we have showers in west and coincidentally the ones who DON'T cut in india and nepal are the ones bathing in rivers, you think they cut for hygiene? so the claim of hygiene is blind b. s.

  • Well. To be honest I don’t really think about it
