What constitutes a lot of women, for men to to have had sex with?

OK, so let's turn this around and do the same... I see this being completely different from my previous question.

  • Interesting question.

One thing for sure, I've never heard anyone call a guy a slut unless it was a joking compliment from another guy.

I know a rock guitarist who used the word to describe himself when he was young. He said he once spent the night having sex with five female fans. He said "Yeah, I was a total slut back them." (At this point, though, he has been happily married for many years and has kids.)

Guys get high fives for that shit. They are considered studs.

Some guys, such as athletes and musicians, have access to more pussy than others. So what if they fuck their fill of cheer leaders, groupies, or other eager, adoring women?

I feel the same way about guys as I do about girls. What's the difference? Why should woman be stigmatized for indulging their youthful appetites?

The number of female partners that constitutes "a lot" for a guy depends on how much access he has had. It says a lot about his desirability. It also depends on his age.

When a guy is young and not yet considering settling down, he is free to gorge himself at the buffet. The older he is, the number of sexual encounters will be greater. A 30 year old will have a higher number than a 20 year old.

But then again, different guys have different attitudes. Some guys prefer steady partners as opposed to sampling as many women as possible. Some guys wind up marrying their high school sweethearts.

By the time a guy is ready to settle down, his past exploits should make no difference as long as he didn't pick up any incurable diseases along the way.

"A lot" is an individual judgement. So I don't think it's possible to come up with a number that applies to everyone.

And, again, I don't think women should be held to a different standard.

    • Thanks for the MHO, darlin'.

  • I think many women are insecure about their sexual performance, hope for a man who is more experienced to be their "guide," and so they tend to not judge men as harshly based on their "number."

I think that what constitutes "too many" depends upon a man's age and the recency of his experiences.

A guy who is 15 and has had 5 sexual partners in his lifetime seems to be promiscuous, but a man who is 35 and has had 5 sexual partners in his lifetime seems to be far from promiscuous.

What should matter is not the number, per se, but what the number might reveal about a man's attitude towards sex. If a woman doesn't want casual hookups, and is looking for a lifetime partner, then she is not going to have sex wth a man if she thinks she is just going to be #73 on his ever-expanding list of conquests. So. . .

If a woman meets a 55 year old man who has had 20 partners. . .

If he had 19 partners before age 25, then settled into a long term relationship with #20, and has not been sexually active since that relationship ended, he is probably a great prospect for a relationship.

But if he settled into a long term relationship wth his #1, ended that at age 53, and has had 19 partners in the last 2 years, he is a poor prospect for a relationship. In both cases, they are 55 years old and had 20 partners, but the conclusions are different based on the patterns.

That's my philosophy on this subject.

  • I guess it really does just depend on age and history. I'm a female but I've slept with a lot of guys. I've lost count. It's probably close to 20 or 30. I'm in my 20s still.

I slept around a lot as a teenager and young adult. Occasionally I'll have one night stands or find a friends with benefits simply because I like sex and it was a coping mechanism for a while. I've calmed down a lot since that point in my life. At the same time though, I'm very loyal when it comes to committed partners so I've never cheated. I've also never gotten an STD because I'm very cautious about sex.

I don't really think it should matter how many people you've slept with in the past so long as you're faithful to your partner currently.

    • 100% agree. Well said.

    • Lol @krakenattackin I’ll be visiting where every guy’s dick on the block has already been

  • Almost think you needed to have the lower level part be broken down more, like 1 to 5, 6 to 10, 11 to 15 cause 20 women can be a lot to some people but 10 might not.

The other ranges are fine or can be grouped even larger, at some point numbers simply stop mattering.

    • 5, 6, 10 and 11 all come under 20 though, right? 😄🙂

    • Right but some might think 8 is not a lot but 10 is.

  • Lmao the fact that 1 and 20 are in the same group. Smh.

    • What do you mean?

    • It's just really sad that the lowest body count group goes up to 20.

    • I get what you mean... But don't know any other way of doing this shit. Trust me, I think it's ridiculous 💯😂🤦🏻‍♀️

  • I have no idea. Only thing I think a woman would care about is if the man is a sex addict, cheated before or simply chooses to not be faithful.

  • I would think 10 or above is quite a bit. 20 is a lot in my books. 👀

If you're in that 40, and above category, there's a name for that - Busy Beaver.

  • funny how it starts at 20... lol

    • It doesn't 😂

    • Look a little closer, love 😘

    • that is the lowest of the bundled up options... lol

  • Lol 20? Okay..

  • Still couldn't care less about the number.

  • It really depends on how old the guy is. An average of more than 2 or 3 per year would generally be considered a lot.

    • But who quantifies these? Who makes it "a lot" or not? 🤔

  • 60 and above...

  • The statistician in me is screaming "you can't have 1-20 as a category!!!" That's saying having been with one woman is the same as having been with 19 !!

    • 🔥🔥

  • When you can’t remember how many people or their names

    • @lovingjo I still think most girls are under 10

    • Not me..

    • Guilty. I was wild till I hit 21, but I still agree with you. Wish I could erase it.

  • This should be interesting.

  • The thing is you’re asking the women …
So are the women going by themselves and what they think or you asking the men …?
Me I say shh…. Not telling

  • They’ll try to legitimize their hypocrisy by saying ‘its harder for a guy to get sex than a woman so its not the same’

    dont fall for it.

  • 1-20 just seem a good place to start

  • Wtf is with this poll? Why does each section range by 20 people?

Why not just have it be more regular intervals like less than 5, over 5 and ten plus?

  • I have a very low number

  • 5 is the most men a girl should ever have sex with

    • Lmfao 😂 and Why's that?

  • I've never seen any virgin shaming on this site. Please post some links.

  • 8 girls

  • 5 or more.
