During sex, what sort of things would you wish your partner to feel / think about during sex?

Well, no matter what our status is (stranger I met at a party, or a serious girlfriend), the main goal is for her to feel pleasure - to have her mind blown and to feel passionate and free and wild and naughty and sexy. To completely surrender to her own lust and pleasure and hold nothing back.

Certainly if the girl is a girlfriend that I'm in love with, then there's a whole other layer there that includes closeness, communication, and sharing in a way that can't be duplicated. But not every situation is that situation.

Part of it is learning about her and creating a safe place where is can speak up and not feel judged by her thoughts. Also talking to her and letting her know the goal of sex isn’t orgasms as that’s too much pressure, rather it’s to connect intimately. And finally knowing her love language so I keep her bucket full. Getting out of one's head is difficult. But not impossible. Hate to say it, but alcohol works great for that. Not getting drunk, but just removing the self-consciousness. Put on some sexy music. Something that you focus on. The guy should learn really good dirty talk. Or find ways to pull her body in, make it so pleasurable for her, she loses herself in it. Turn off all the lights, but have candles. Candelight is very flattering.

The spiral is like this constant voice telling you that you aren't worthy. It asks you constantly how your breath smells and points out all of the locations of your (in your mind) unsexy bits. I agree with Amanda in that it can be a challenge getting out off ones head. For me, however, I think it's getting with the right partner that helps. When I've been in that spiral, it usually helped when my partner would remind me that the parts of me that I'm insecure about are beautiful. Like he'd kiss and rub my feet (I hate my feet by the way), and comment on how sexy I am. Sometimes it's the way they look at you. Like there's no other person on the planet and they could devour you right then and there. I get to relax and I'm also reminded of how badly I want to devour him.
