He's probably worked out that you like him so he thinks it's his lucky day... many young guys just want to gain sexual experiences and see girls as objects... they make the mistake that girls are not p*rn stars who just want sex (unlike many guys). No I think he's testing the waters... that is, he's passing off ehat he's thinking as a joke because he knows its a bit crass. So if you dont go for it he can pretend its a joke. But he's actually hoping you will agree to it.. and if yoi do he will have his pants down in a flash
