Tbh it don't sound like a real thing. But never looked into that one. But i would of thought it just more your sexual attraction for someone by a increases by a ton lot compared to others based on your emotional connection. But i still think you know who is sexually attractive like a hot celebrity or something. I don't think someone can be sorta asexual until emotion bond has formed since asexual is more of permanent thing. But honestly what i think that's a positive.
It makes sense to be more attracted to someone who you have a bond with and that's how it should work. Makes you a lot less likely to be influenced by looks. I am kinda the same way, Emotional bonds make a person 10x more attractive. And i don't really find the thought of 1 night stands that great because no emotional bond.

I'm dubious about the idea, but that may just be because I've never experienced it. If a person told me that, I'd probably think they were just trying to hide their orientation (either from others or from themselves) or their asexuality. I would, however, be open to being wrong (I'd say "being proved wrong", but I have no idea how you'd prove that). I know that attraction can be enhanced with an emotional bond, but as a requirement? Yeah, still dubious.
