What do you do after he cums in you?

This might sound really stupid, but I'm a virgin who will be having sex soonish, and we aren't intending on using condoms. When he cums in me, what do I do after that? Do I just leave it in there? Am I meant to get it out, and if I am, how? Sorry for sounding so inexperienced!

This is not about pregnancy, it's just about what you're meant to do after. It won't be unprotected.

  • You can leave it in if you like. Sometimes its kinda hot to fall asleep knowing his man stuff is still inside you.

The reason why its generally advisable to go to the bathroom within an hour or so after sex and masturbation is because it decreases the risk of UTI (urinary tract infection). UTI is not caused by come itself. Your vagina is designed for that stuff and has self-cleaning properties to maintain its normal pH balance. UTI is caused by e coli, which its naturally found in the digestive tract and small amounts can be on the skin near your vagina. Sometimes e coli can find its way into love juices, moreso women because of the proximity between orifices. Peeing after sex and masturbation (even if you don't really have to 'go' lots) clears your urinary tract of any stray cum, and thus potential e coli, that might have found its way to the entrance.

UTI is an uncommon event, but most women will experience it at some point in their life. While its easily treated with regular antibiotics, it hurts like a bitch until its cleared up and hence worth the 'minor inconvenience' of peeing as a precaution.

Having said all this, don't feel like you need to go running to the bathroom straight after sex. The best thing to do after he comes inside you is to enjoy the moment, cuddle, makeout, relax etc.

  • Are you on the pill? When they start to cum, most guys will put it in as far as they can and stop thrusting, since it can be uncomfortable for them to keep moving while they're cumming. After he finishes, he'll probably pull out right away, and a lot of the come will come out with him or shortly after. Some of it will stay inside though, and may drip out for a while. Also his come itself won't cause an infection, that's due more to irritation of your urethra during the act itself and the fact that all of the bacteria and stuff on the guy is coming into contact with you.

    • Just a quick note here- we guys usually only get a wee bit sensitive to touch (and movement) AFTER we cum... not during. Just like you girls- it's simply a whole lot of wonderful during the climax... and we feel little but that- so lots of us keep right on moving... sort of. You might say that it's the "shock of orgasm" which makes some of us stop... if we do.

  • It depends on the guy. Sometimes I'm comfortable leaving it in and snuggling for while. But another guy I was with happened to come a lot each time so I really felt the need to go clean up immediately afterwords because it was dripping out (which is a gross feeling for me)

  • Let me correct you: There is nothing you can do if he ejaculates deep into you but pray. You cannot "get it all out". Urinating after sex does not remove ejaculate since the two tracts aren't even connected. Please use a condom; if you have to ask this kind of question you shouldn't be practicing unsafe sex.

    • When she's going to the bathroom, gravity will cause most of it to come out on its own. Not all of it, but the majority will when she wipes.

    • It's not unsafe, I'm on the pill. I just mean I don't know what is common practise to do after someone cums in you.

    • That is actually dependent on a number of factors that is relative to her body and his. If he ejaculates deep into her and she does not urinate immediately ( meaning her vagina returns to its original shape which can happen after just 8-12 mins. - the same length of time 'afterglow' is present in many which isn't a coincidence ) not as much will free itself. Furthermore the "slough" that you're referring to isn't most of it, it's just globs of it, and if his is watery that effects the effect.

  • The girls I have been with generally go to the bathroom to clean up to prevent a possible UTI.

  • You should always go to the bathroom after sex (it prevents bladder/urinary tract infections). So when you pee, most of it should come out on its own.

  • I just leave it in and cuddle or kiss... It's good for the second round too if there is one.

  • I just leave it alone! It will work its way out on its own.

    • What about infections? Like xhoneyxbeex said?

    • What about them! I've never heard of a rash of problems from that and millions of women are walking around with spunk in their vagina.

  • You should probably go get Plan B so you don't wind up pregnant.

    • Saw the update after posting...you can just let it do its thing and flow out.

  • Well there's obvi no way you'd know if your a virgin, so don't apologize! Yes def go to the bathroom after he cums in u, it will pretty much just come out but I've always heard about the UTI thing if it stays in you like, if you went to bed right after or something. So yeah, always a good idea to go to the bathroom right after! :o)

  • Sometimes I clean up after, sometimes it feels hot to have it you knowing it could become something. If I know me and other girls are going to be doing things later I clean up.

  • Really a dirty and disgusting question, earlier sex and its act were all so intimate and that was the beauty of it, now everything is just so open and just about sex, not nice at all.

    • How is that relevant to this question?

    • I don't know its relevant or not but all this things look so dirty and vulgar to me, womens were thing aof respect, now just seen as object for sex.

    • interesting that you say that... why shouldn't a woman be able to ask such a question, especially online? oh, that's right, I see you're from India where a woman's rights for the most part don't exist.

  • Start searching for a prenatal doctor.

  • i just lie there holding him tightly and enjoying the moment. there's no need to rush to get it out. it will gradually come out when you are vertical.

  • I Swallow

  • What are you meaning to get out? If he uses a condom his come will be inside the condom if that's what you mean.

    • I said in the question no condoms...

    • Oh sorry I thought you wrote we intend on using condoms. It will come out on its own so you don't have to do anything with it.
