What do you do as a dad without sexual stuff attached?

Never had a dad can you give me an idea of what you do as a dad? Hold your daughters , kiss them make them feel safe? I've never had that ever growing up like most girls wit ha daddy and wondering how often you do that with them it's all I ever wanted without the sexual stuff attached.

I take the kids, from my wifes former relationship, to school, gym and play basketball with her, talk at the dinner table and listen to her challenges in life.. which are frequent and many. In general, I try to train her to be confident, challenge her emotional and physical development and provide new opportunities for her to learn. She will snuggle with mom while I'm in bed, but that's their thing... but I think provides security.

My father wasn't all that affectionate with any of us kids but we knew he cared. some fathers I've seen are affectionate.. snuggle with the daughter, tease a bit, tuck into bed. Depends on the father and his "heart".

Fathers are really important to developing the self image, confidence, self worth of the daughter. In absence, have to re-parent yourself and build that healthy.

Are you aware that some consider a father hugging his daughter to be indicative of a pedophile? Western society has become so comfortable attacking father's that it's a wonder any father goes near his daughter. My ex thinks that a father should not ever hug/touch his daughter "once she begins to develop breasts".

Not only have women destroyed dating/marriage, but they have also seriously damaged the core father/daughter relationship.

I play with my kids, draw, make art, play outside. Sleep on my chest during nap time. Brade her hair. Hike. Hug when she wants one. Pick her up and carry her on my neck or side saddle hold her. I'm just being a normal loving father that makes my kids feel like they are safe.

I give them side hugs, kiss the tops of their heads, squeeze their feet as a long distance hug.
Lots of pats or caresses on the shoulder and "I love you kiddo"

i know who my bio dad is however him and my mom divorced when i was two. We never had much of a relationship after that.

it wasn't tell i was older where i wanted my daddy and he wasn't there like when iwas 17. After ten years of men liking me in romantic way and getting left when pregnant by my daughters bio dad i lost my trust in men completely. Then i met a guy got married cause he was good to her as daddy however he can't be my daddy to.

Well I never been a dad but if I had a daughter she beca princess in my eyes and be daddy's little girl. I give them piggy back rides and put them on my shoulders. Play catch with them if they like sports or tea party if they are into roleplaying or imaginative. I might be overprotective at times when she starts dating but trust her choices. Maybe take her to a daddy daughter dance. I would do everything I can to make her happy and feel safe

I always made my daughters feel like they could tell me anything and feel special, we always went out as much as we could, I mostly hugged them

I can actually taker her to the gym with me since she wants to do different sports. I also play softball with her at home.

I'm a loving caring dad to 2 lovely young men now. Played sport together encouraged and supported them to play team sports of their choice and given them a good moral upbringing. However I'd have loved to been a father to daughter who I'd have made my princess 👸

Not really had good relationship with my mother. I was an only child, and really think I missed out on having a strong bond with a female ( my partner exempted) . If I had daughter I would have been more complete in sharing my love
