What hurts more, getting hit in the balls or periods?

  • Well, I've never had a period, so I can't say for sure, but the balls are just wrapped in nerves. So, I've dropped a large rock on my toe before. The toe smashed, the nail came off, it bled, turned blue, and the bone cracked. That injury to my toe didn't hurt as much as being hit in the balls. The pain in the balls passed faster, but was more intense than the pain of crushing my toe. If having your period hurts more than smashing your toe with a heavy rock, and I don't know that it doesn't, then it may hurt as much as or more than getting hit square in the balls.

  • I've never had a period so my opinion is skewed.

    Short term pain its totally getting kicked in the balls.

    Long term the period is way more painful because it last a couple days and then even when its done you know it will come back in about a month so your dreading it every day it gets closer

    But my opinion is skewed. And I doubt there are any people put there who have endured both side by side to compare.

  • I think the question should be hit in the balls or child birth. But also not one person in the world can answer that accurately. There's definitely plenty of debate though.

  • At least if a guy gets hit in his balls he's only in a lot of pain for a few minutes. Periods are painfully for 3-4 days.

  • It’s not possible to know since no one person who can have both. Besides are you talking getting hit in the balls every month? And girls can do stuff to relieve period cramps.

  • I assume periods. Hard to say when I've never had one, but based on what I've read and heard it sounds a lot more painful than being hit in the balls.

    And even if it's not... It lasts for days, while a blunt hit to the testicles is momentarily. So the total amount of pain is definitely biggest in a period.

    (And if you get hit in the balls, there's a big chance you did something to deserve it anyway.)

  • If periods hurt the the extent of it relating to balls getting hit, id suggest going to the doctor becuase it could be a sign of endometriosis or cysts... but in all honestly, i would say the balls getting hit hurts more.

    Think of it like this:

  • I guess the closest comparison for a girl to be able to imagine is whether period cramps hurt more or getting punched straight in the stomach hurts more.
    So which hurts more?

  • Getting hit down there is much worse because our testicles are not designed to withstand pain, they are very delicate and are sensitive to pain.

    I’m not a female so I don’t know how periods feel but most women say that periods only give them abdominal cramps, mood swings and upset stomachs but that’s about it.

    But then again men aren’t supposed to be getting hit down there, while females are supposed to be having periods. So in reality they can’t be compared.

  • No one could personally answer that question, but half of a mans most sensory of nerves are in his balls. There are of course genital cramping for females, but less nerves involved. I'd say men win vs periods, but giving birth (without pain killers) wins vs balls.
